Mithrel Merian was a male senator from Alderaan during the Seswenna Security Crisis. A newly-appointed senator, he aligned himself with the Probitas pro populus faction and its leadership. When the crisis unfolded, he was brought in by Supreme Chancellor Anwis Eddicus, a PPP member himself, as another trusted advisor.[1] Merian was present for the initial discussion with Jedi Master Yoda, and he was also available during the press conference that Eddicus held announcing a partial quarantine of some sectors to mitigate the spread of the Death Seed Plague.[2]
