Matale Yn'gy was a Human Male from Cato Neimoidia. He was a excelent lightsaber wielder which few he met could compare with. He was in young age sent out by Darth Malak to kill Darth Revan and his companions. He turned away from the dark and lived most of his life as a universal jedi, neighter good or bad.

Matale Yn'gy was born on the planet of Cato Neimoidia. He lived here until he was discoverd by the Jedi Jolee Bindo wich took him as his apprentice and trained him at the Jedi academy on Dantooine. The young boy made great progres and was granted the blue lightsaber for his skills with the lightsaber. The other teachers at the academy though young Matale was to unstable to become a Jedi, but Jolee convinced The Council to let him continue to train the boy.

After the war of Exar Kun Jolee left The Council for unknown reasons and took his apprentice to the wookieeplanet Kashyyyk to do his training there. One day Jolee asked Matale to go out in the big forrest to hunt for some food. While Matale was out in the forrest Jolee got visited by Darth Revan and Bastilla Shan back in the camp. Jolee followed Revan and Bastilla in their quest for the Star Forge and poor Matale was left alone at Kashyyyk.

After Matale was left behind by Jolee he desided to take the little he had and head for Tatooine. Here he lived as a podracer and turned out to be an exelent pilot. He lived a pretty good life here exept he used his force powers to get everything he wanted. The road to the dark side was short for Matale becouse of his little training. One day he got visited by Darth Bandon, Darth Malak's apprentice, the Dark Lord of the Sith at that time. Darth Bandon had sensed the unstable and powerful Matale and sought him out to get him to join the ranks of the Sith.

Matale hadn't been warned of the siths in his training since Jolee had abandoned the Jedi Order. He hadn’t be teached to see the difference between jedi and sith, so he followed Darth Bandon to the sith academy at Korriban. Here he understood that somethin was wrong, but he learned the ways of the sith and began to fall over to the dark side...The headteacher followed Matale's teaching closely and understood that Matale could take out every sith in the academy easily, but he could not tell Matale how powerfull he really was by risking his own life and tried to slow down Matales progres at the academy.

After a while the news came out that Darth Bandon, Darth Malaks apprentice, had been killed by republic agents that tried to find the Star Forge and the apprentice role stood open for the sith who managed to kill Darth Revan and get Bastilla to Malak. The headteacher didn't want Matale at the academy anymore so he sent word for Malak that there was a powerful student at the academy who could kill Revan and get Bastilla for him. Malak accepted and Matale was sent to Malaks flagship the Leviathan for further instructions.

Matale killed allot of jedi in his search for Revan and Bastilla, but at last he found Revan on the waterplanet Manaan but saw that his former master Jolee was with him. He understood that he couldn’t kill his own master and realized what he had become...A Sith. Matale went in exile on the planet Ord Mantell. Here he could do what he was good at, race with his starship, a highly modified E-wing starfighter in the Blockade Runners Derby Race...

Matale soon grew tierd of his life on Ord Mantell. He had been working as a bounty hunter and a racer. He and a friend of his, Xervior, went to Coruscant to look up Jolee Bindo. Matale wanted to draw out Bindo's last knowledge about the force before he died. Jolee and Matale met on a cafe where they were ambushed by sith assassins, and Matale's former master did not make it. The little time they had together Matale learned that he needed to learn all aspects of the force to become as powerful as Revan.

Matale took his masters body and flew it to Kashyyyk where he burned his master's body in his old hut within the shadowlands. There was great sorrow on Kashyyk that day because Jolee had been protecting the wildlife on kashyyk for many years.
