Mandalorian commando squads or MCSs were commando squads that stuck to their Mandalorian heritage. Some believed that since these squads embraced their heritage, they fought and acted better than the other commando squads. These squads usually had different SEs than the other squad's did. Their emblems usually had something to do with Mandalorians than with their squads.
