The Mamphra system was a Core Worlds system with seven orbiting planets, four of which were inhabitable. A major trading stop, the system was situated where the hyperspace route the Corellian Run intersected with the Hydrian Way.

[edit] Behind the Scenes
Like the planet of the same name, the Mamphra system was inspired by Republican and Imperial Rome. Viminal, Caelia, Ianicu and Pincia were named after Viminal, Caelian, Janiculum (in Latin Ianiculum) and Pincian Hills respectively, although Janiculum and Pincian are not counted among the traditional Seven hills of Rome.
