Mal-Trido was a Jedi born to Luke and Mara-Jade Skywalker in the year 24 ABY. While he seemed like an ordinary force sensitive human, or at least as normal as force sensitive gets, he truly wasn't. Possessing power far greater than anyone, even his grandfather, Anakin Skywalker, he defeated many powerful Sith Lords in his life, including Darth Baltro, Darth Cridius, Darth Bane, Darth Occultus, and Darth Zyre. Fighting for the Galactic Alliance for many years, he defended it from the Sith until he, and the rest of the remaining Jedi, were forced to go into hiding.

[edit] Pre-birth

Before Mal-Trido was born, it was a day like any other. Mara Jade had been pregnant for quite sometime after she married Luke, but she was still fit for missions. A mission on this particular day took Luke and Mara to a remote temple a few miles from the Jedi Praxeum and to a remote section of Yavin 4. Upon entering the temple, the couple could feel strong Dark Side energies. They looked at a large wall, which had drawing of the entire history of the Sith in picture form from their beginning to end. As Luke reached out to touched it, he was attacked by spirits of the Massassi warriors.

Luke defeated the warriors easily but he and Mara were suddenly transported to a huge expanse of white force energy. What Luke and Mara did not know was that they were actually in the centermost point of the Inner Force Nexus on Krion. Suddenly, Luke was confronted by the Sith Lords Naga Sadow, Freedon Nadd, Marka Ragnos, and Exar Kun. Mara was too weak to fight and so Luke had to battle them on his own. After a long a difficult battle, Luke unleashed a deadly force lightning attack and beat them all. A vortex appeared and Luke and Mara were about to leave when Mara collapsed to the floor. She had to give birth to the baby here. Using the Force around him, Luke helped Mara give birth to what would become the most powerful Jedi ever. The two then saw a blue, red, and gold crystal floating into the air. It immediatly turned into the fabled Divine Lightsaber and rested in the baby's hand. Luke and Mara decided to name thier child Mal-Trido, which ment The Force and the Crystal in an ancient language. The went through the vortex with Mal-Trido in hand and ventured back to the Jedi Praxeum.

[edit] The First Week

The week of Mal-Trido's birth was the week Luke and Mara got a lot of attention. Darth Cridius, a Sith Lord, took this oppurtunity to assassinate Luke and Mara. Sending a strike team of 10 Dark Jedi to the unsuspecting Jedi Praxeum, Cridius expected the strike team to fufill their task easily for they were some of Cridius's best trained Dark Jedi. Everything, like Cridius predicted, went well. The Dark Jedi surrounded Luke, Mara, and Mal-Trido, who Mara was holding onto. The Dark Jedi suddenly used force lightning and combined their attacks into one big lightning bolt. Luke and Mara thought they were done for when suddenly, Mal-Trido used force deflection to protect his parents and deflect the lightning back at the Dark Jedi, killing all 10 of them. Watching this through the Force, Cridius was amazed. 10 of his best warriors were dead at a baby's hands. After the fight, Mal-Trido fell asleep in his parent's arms. While he was sleeping, the spirits of Obi Wan, Yoda, and Anakin Skywalker appeared to Luke and Mara, telling them that their child had shortened the gap between their world and the world of the living. They came to tell Luke and Mara that their child could never die unless he wanted to because Mal-Trido would become the most powerful Jedi ever in 12 years and destroy the Sith once and for all. Cridius, still watching this through the Force, took a team of 10,000 Dark Jedi to Yavin 4 to kidnap Mal-Trido. It was quite the simple plan and so Cridius went through with it. Within a few days, an army of Dark Jedi were fighting against an entire Jedi Temple.

As the battle raged on, it seemed like neither side had the advantage. To gain the advantage, Cin Drallig, who by protecting his heart with the Force had survived his encounter with Darth Vader, charged up the battlefield, killing many Sith in his away. He retreated to a large temple on Yavin 4 where he was locked up and started a secret Jedi training center where he trained many Padawans, including Darth Nihl. Meanwhile, the Jedi seemed to be gaining the advantage. Suddenly, what looked like an Red Guard with a lightsaber charged up the battlefield and engaged Luke Skywalker in combat. This was none other than Darth Cridius, Dark Lord of the Sith, who had decided to take the mission into his own hands. As the two clashed, Luke sent a message to Krinn Kenobi, Obi-Wan's long lost brother, to run with Mal-Trido to a planet where he would be safe. Krinn dashed off to get Mal-Trido, Mal-Trido's lightsaber, a golden sash that had been made for Mal-Trido, and Krinn's own lightsaber. The two then fled to The Blue Blazer, a ship that would one day belong to Mal-Trido, and blasted off. Cridius ordered his fleet in space to attack the ship but as he did this, Luke pushed Cridius with the Force into Cridius's own ship and slaughtered the remaining Dark Jedi.

Cridius took off and chased Krinn through space but Krinn jumped into hyperspace and Cridius lost the trail. What Krinn didn't know was that he jumped into hyperspace incorrectly and ripped a hole in the space-time continuum, thus transporting Krinn to the year 2005 ABY. The rip became permanent and nobody ever knew. When Krinn came out of hyperspace, he was hovering over present day Earth. Carefully landing in a small town in New York State, Krinn gave the baby to a family and went into hiding, waiting for the time when he could train the child in the ways of the Force.

[edit] Exile on Earth

For the next twelve years, Mal-Trido grew up like any normal Earth boy would, always under the eye of Krinn Kenobi. Mal-Trido became good friends with a boy named Will, a child prodigy who was the same age as Mal-Trido and secretly force sensitive. While Will seemed to surpass Mal-Trido in school, Mal-Trido surpassed Will in other places, and Will wasn't the only one to notice. While playing basketball one day when Mal-Trido and Will were 7, Mal-Trido dunked on a 10 foot basket from the other side of the court. While running a race in gym, Mal-Trido came in 1st in a one mile race with a time of 1 minute. By the time Mal-Trido was 12, he had caused 3 power outages, run the 3 minute mile in 2 minutes, and was able to lift some objects withough touching them. Krinn knew that it was time.

[edit] A Jedi Is Awakened

One day after school, when Mal-Trido was 12, he and Will were walking through town when they saw a man, being beaten up by a street gang. The man was Krinn Kenboi and while Krinn had wanted to test Mal-Trido's abilities in the Force, this was not his method. Krinn was really being beaten up by men and Mal-Trido decided to try and save him. He run up to each one of them and socked them hard with a punch in the stomach, each punch powered by the Force. After the men had ran off, Krinn invitd Mal and Will to his house for lunch. The two were a little uneasy but went through with it. During the lunch Krinn Kenobi told the two a story that went like this:

"There was once a little boy who at only a few days old took on an army of assassins all at once. A few days later, the boy was the subject of a kidnapping attempt and fled with a caretaker to a far off planet."

Mal-Trido did not believe such a story was possilbe but Krinn finally spilled the beans, saying that Mal-Trido was that boy and that the story was true. Mal-Trido didn't know what to say. He almost fainted, but stopped himself and asked for proof. Krinn went into his safe and brought out Mal-Trido's lightsaber. Krinn explained to Mal-Trido about his powers, the Force, the Jedi, the prophecy, and everything else. Krinn also told Will he was force sensitive and that after Mal-Trido was trained, he would be trained by Mal-Trido. Mal's training went quickly, however. In one week, Mal-Trido was at the level of Jedi Master and trained Will in three weeks using the Force to accelerate Will's training. Mal-Trido soon no longer wore a shirt, just the golden sash and shorts. Will had become much smarter and was programing trainning courses for Mal-Trido. But the use of force powers caught the eye of one of the probe droids Cridius had dispatched to find Mal-Trido and Cridius sent his apprentice, Darth Baltro, and some stormtroopers to investigate.

One day, Mal was going through a training course that Will had set up for him. The course would utilize each of Mal's abilities. At the end, Mal would have to use his lightsaber to defeat them enimies. Although he had learned every form of lightsaber comabt, he excelled at Form IV, Ataru, and Form VII, Juyo/Vaapad. What were supposed to be droids at the end, however, were replaced by stormtroopers with cortosis armor. Thankfully, the Divine Lightsaber, which was Mal-Trido's lightsaber, was able to cut through any material so it didn't really matter. Krinn, however sensed something was wrong and the trio set off to investigate. In a dark ally, the trio met up with Darth Baltro, who attack Mal. Baltro's lightsaber wasn't the only thing that gave him the advantage but Mal couldn't hit him. Baltro an off and the trio pursued him but Baltro got to his ship first and took off. Krinn knew that the Skywalkers were good pilots and told Mal that he had a ship for him. Krinn showed Mal The Blue Blazer and told him the once they entered the ship, they could never live on Earth again. Mal and Will said goodbye to their families, which was harder for Will since his family didn't believe him, packed their bags, and took off into space, with Mal easily piloting the ship. They traced Baltro's coordinates to the Star Wars Galaxy and jumped into hyperspace and back through time into the year 36 ABY. Krinn said that the only person ever to come close to beating Baltro was Cin Drallig and Krinn guided them to the temple where Drallig was prisoner. After killing the guards, they rescued Cin Drallig where Cin taught Mal his special technique, speed combat, which was using force speed in your attacks. Cin also taught Mal force energy blast and soon, mal and learned and surpassed Cin in the techniques in only a few hours. The foursome then went to the Jedi Praxeum where Darth Baltro had trapped Luke and Mara. Mal dropped in from his ship, much to the suprise of his parents, and fought Darth Baltro to the death. Using the techniques Cin had taught him, Mal was able to defeat and kill Baltro.

[edit] The Hunt For Darth Cridius

When Mal returned, he became the center of attention, all of which caught the eye of Cridius. However, the Jedi knew Darth Baltro had a master and sent teams of Jedi Knights to look for Cridius, causing Cridius to be on the move constantly. Over the next few weeks, Mal faught countless Sith after Sith to find where Cridius was hiding. Eventually, the Jedi traced Cridius to the Deep Core. Later however, they might've wished they hadn't.

The Jedi eventually probed a Sith to tell them the where Cridius was hiding. They found out that Cridius was hiding out on Coruscant and the Jedi engaged Cridius in a duel. Cridius easily defeated the Jedi that were attacking him but fled on his speaderbike when Mal-Trido attacked him. Mal-Trido pursued Cridius across Coruscant until they got to the remains of the Senate Hall of the Old Republic. After a long battle, Mal eventually defeated Cridius by unleashing a devastating force lightning attack. As Cridius fell upon the ground, Luke Skywalker, Cin Drallig, and Krinn Kenobi came rushing into the building. Cridius looked up at Mal-Trido and told Mal to remove his mask. Mal carefully removed the mask and then gasped in sudden horror, as well as Luke, Krinn, and Drallig. Cridius, the Dark Lord of the Sith, was none other than Mace Windu.

Mace's eyes suddenly turned blood red and he ripped open his Red Guard uniform and lept onto his feet. He told Mal that after being killed by Palpatine and Anakin Skywalker, two people pulled Mace into their apartment using the Force. They were called the Sages of Plagueis, Sages who had served Darth Plagueis, therefore able to revive Mace. They wanted revenge against Palpatine for killing their master and so trained Mace in the ways of the Dark side and as a Red Guard to one day kill Palpatine. After becoming a Red Guard for Palpatine, Mace planned to kill him but he was too late when Vader killed Palpatine. Eventually, after many long years, Mace became the new emperor of the Empire Reborn and fell completely to the Dark Side, wanting to eliminate all those powerful enough to stand in his way, which he attempted to do to Mal's parents. He failed and decided that if he could raise Mal to be a Sith, he could rule the Galaxy, we he failed at as well. Thus, he had decided to kill Mal-Trido and suddenly lunged at Mal. The two combatants went into the ruined Senate Chamber and engaged in fierce combat. The two seemed to be equally matched until Mace pushed Mal-Trido with the Force plummeting to the bottom of the chamber, a large enough drop that no one could've survived, even Mal-Trido (he was just immortal and had semi-eternal youth, he could die if he was stabbed or dropped from high up enough). However, Mal-Trido was able to save himself using a special force power only he could use to its fullest, Force Flight, and flew up to Windu where Mal used a powerful, yet controlled, force storm, to defeat and kill Windu. Mal took the body with him and the Jedi returned to Yavin IV.

[edit] Revival

Before burning Mace Windu's body on Yavin IV, Mal looked at it one last time. Suddenly, Mace sprang to his feet as not a Sith but a Jedi. Appearing around Mace was Yoda, Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Anakin Skywalker, all very much healthy and very much alive. Without knowing it, Mal had triggered a hidden power that he had, Force Revival, a power that allowed someone to bring the dead back to life. Of course Mal was stunned but for this, and for defeating Cridius and Baltro, Mal-Trido was made into a Grand Master of the New Jedi Order at only 12 years old. As the event was celebrated, Mal saw in the distance a force ghost nod at him approvingly and disappear.

[edit] Cleanup before the battle

After the redemption of Mace Windu and the revivalsof departed Jedi Masters and Grand Masters, the order went about cleaning up Sith. On Ossus however, after destroying a Sith camp, Mal-Trido met up with another force ghost. This one however, revealed itself as being Darth Maul.

Shocked at this discovery, Mal prepared to attack Maul but Maul said to disarm himself. Maul then told Mal how he had been redeemed by a Jedi spirit and wanted a second chance at life. Mal was ready to give it to him but first he had to talk to the council. Eventually they approved and Maul was revived. Maul then found his old lightsaber and switched the red crystal with a blue one. After this, he became a Jedi Knight.

[edit] Order 67

While testing different things at a GA lab, Mal-Trido's friend Will discovered that it would be possible to reverse Order 66 and at the same time make a legion of stormtroopers 10 times better in every aspect, incluiding their commander's skills, than the 501st, the greatest and most famous legion of stormtroopers ever to exist. He named this program Order 67. But to make sure it worked, Will needed a test subject. Mal decided to fetch one himself, the 624th, the weakest legion of stormtroopers ever to exist and their leader, Commander Roy. Sure enough, Order 67 worked and the stormtroopers sided with the Galactic Alliance. In addition, Order 67 also gave the newly renamed Clone Troopers Phase IV Armor, which looked exactly like Phase II Armor but it was better than Phase I, Phase II, and Stormtrooper Armor combined. The armor was not strong enough to resist a lightsaber completely, but enough to be a bit more resistant to laser blasts. This was so successful that the GA demanded that they have more. The GA knew that there were quite a few legions of stormtroopers on Kamino, where the cloning facility was being re-opened and so they sent a strike team down to capture them. The GA landed but were outmatched until Mal-Trido arrived with the 624th. Apparently, Mal had injected the 624th with Jedi DNA, allowing them, especially Commander Roy, to use some force powers. They also each wielded a double vibro-blade and Commander Roy had a single-bladed lightsaber. With their help, the GA captured the 224th, 786th, 206th, 804th, 308th, 902nd, and the 1st legions. Order 67 was used on them and each became specialized in their own skill. For instance, the 224th became specialized with advanced or special weaponry while the 786th gained advanced war skills. These legions would help out the GA for many years to come as Order 67 was used many times over, each time producing the same result.

[edit] Return of the Dark Lords

By this time in his life, Mal-Trido was known as a hero across the Galaxy. To his friends and family, however, he was a reckless teenager who had lately been using his powers recklessly. Mal would often overdue force power use, cauing balckouts, earthquakes, and the like, just to solve a simple situation. But Mal never admitted to his mistakes. However, he was forced to train with Darth Maul for a while to learn the mistakes of using powers recklessly. Darth Maul had since become a Jedi Knight and had lately been called just Maul.

[edit] Death

After centuries of fighting against a government against force users, Mal-Trido truly believed he was the last of the Jedi. Wandering the Galaxy, Mal just barely made it around until one day, when he was shot down by The Enforcers. Crashing on Charros IV, Mal found the robe and mask of Darth Nihilus, which he put on.

• There has been some speculation as to why Mal-Trido is bald. Many have thought that Mal-Trido's hair is the Force and thus invisible. The true answer, however, is that when Krinn Kenobi ripped a hole in the space-time continuum with Mal-Trido, onboard, they were both affected by the change in time. Because they moved foward in time, parts of their body changed to look like they would in the future. Krinn Kenobi's beard was affected, changing from brown to grey, and Mal-Trido's head was affected, causing it to be permanently bald.
