Lybi was a mining colony in the O'ran system. It was the scene of a revolt against the Imperial House of Woltar that was a precursor to the Spika Wars. It was also a rich source of ores and was mined both before and after the war. The primary owner of the planet's mining colonies after the Spika Wars was Century Semiconductors Corporation, who shipped the ores to their planet on Woltar II for processing.
