Unknown (possibly Lef Lars)
The Lars homestead was a moisture farm three kilometers outside of Anchorhead on Tatooine that belonged to the Lars family for at least three generations. During the Invasion of Utapau, it was owned by Cliegg Lars and his family.
The Lars homestead was once owned by Lef Lars and Gredda Lars, who passed it onto their son Cliegg Lars upon their deaths. Cliegg lived there with his second wife Shmi Skywalker-Lars, his son Owen Lars and his stepson Annikin Skywalker during the Invasion of Utapau. During that conflict, Cliegg allowed the royal party of Utapau Queen Sabé Arcadia, along with Jedi Knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and Jedi Master Jard Dooku, to stay at the homestead while they made repairs to their damaged starship. When they left, Annikin also left with them as he had been told by the Ophuchi Clan that he was destined to fulfill the Prophecy of the Chosen One.
Located on the Great Chott Salt Flat on the outskirts of the Jundland Wastes, the Lars homestead was said to have been a large complex that could fit many people within it. As a moisture farm, the homestead was equipped with dozens of moisture vaporators scattered across the property. The complex itself was mostly underground, with entrances within a large pit, to keep the property cool and allow enough room for the family and those who might have been visiting. The complex also had a maintenance garage where the inhabitants could work on any number of projects, including repairs to swoop racers such as when Annikin Skywaker was preparing for his swoop race against Sebulba.
