The Korum System was a star system in the Wild Space region. Its main star Korum, a blue Supergiant, was orbited by six planets and an asteroid belt, and included only one habitable planet.
As a dying star, Korum went supernova in 2,350 BBY - an event that destroyed the majority of the system.

Discovered by hyperspace explorers in employment of the Hutts during the Great Hyperspace War, the system was found to be largely dead save for a desert planet the explorers designated Derelis Prime. The explorers landed on the planet and scanned it, finding large mineral deposits. It was quickly claimed as Hutt colony, and it's location was kept secret from the Republic which designated the entire system as unhabitable.
