Khameir Sarin was a Male Zabrak who left the Jedi Order and became better known as Darth Maul. He was the twentieth Jedi to leave the Order, becoming a member of the Lost Twenty. Sarin believed that the Republic could never be fixed and eventually met Darth Sidious, who became his true master. Maul served Trade Federation Viceroy Nute Gunray and Sidious during the invasion of Naboo. Although the battle was lost, the second attempt at taking the planet sparked the Clone Wars, which were part of the Sith's plans to control the galaxy. Maul had fled the battle, leaving Gunray to be captured.

Early Life[]
Even though I knew that the Senate was corrupt, the Council was fallible, and Jedi training methods far from perfect, I remained with the Jedi Order for twelve years after Galidraan. Why? Because I still believed that I could accomplish some good as a Jedi. I thought I could bring about some positive changes, right certain wrongs, and do better than maintain the status quo. In short, I was an utter fool.

Khameir Sarin was born and taken into the Jedi Order years before the Invasion of Naboo. Maul was part of the attack on Galidraan in 44 BBY. The attack cost the lives of several Jedi and all but one Mandalorian warrior, Jango Fett, who cought Sarin's eye. In 32 BBY, Sarin left the Order, thus becoming one of the Lost Twenty. He then met Darth Sidious and learned his secret identity. Khameir Sarin was no more, thus becoming Darth Maul. Maul's first orders were to kill Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas, who was doing a private investigation of a clone army on Kamino. After Sifo-Dyas was killed, Maul contacted Jango Fett, who was the one being used as the host for the clone army, and planned to add the army of his to their support. Sometime before the invasion of Naboo, Sidious and Maul met Nute Gunray and his advisor, Rune Haako, who were in charge of the Trade Federation Droid Armies. The Federation combined with other industries to form the Confederacy of Independent Systems.
Invasion of Naboo[]
In 23 BBY, the Federation had invaded Naboo successfully. The Queen, Sabé Amidala had escaped, however, with the helps of the Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn and his former apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi. They had crash landed on Utapau, but made repairs with the help of local farmboy Annikin Skywalker. As Kenobi and Skywalker were preparing to board the ship and leave, Maul swooped out of nowhere and attacked Kenobi. The two engaged into a duel, which resulted in Kenobi fleeing and the ship leaving for Coruscant. Kenobi then informed the Jedi Council of the attack while Jedi Master and Council Member Mace Windu learned of cloning activities on Kamino. Windu learned of the order placed nine years ago and tracked Jango Fett to Nar Shaddaa, in which Fett was arrested by Mace. Although brought back to the temple for interrigation, Fett managed to escape into the outer rim. Maul arrived back on Naboo to prepare for a final confrontation with the Jedi. Although Maul successfully wounded Obi-Wan and killed Qui-Gon, Master Yoda arrived and confronted Maul in a duel. Maul fled the planet, leaving Nute Gunray to be captured by Amidala and the droid armies neutralized by Skywalker. Maul, however, did not lead the second wave of droid forces in the attempt to retake Naboo, thus beginning the Clone Wars. The battle had cost the lives of many droid forces and Jango Fett, who was defeated by Master Windu. Meanwhile, Maul had arrived back on Coruscant to inform Sidious that everything was going as they had planned.

Khameir Sarin was a intelligent and skillful Jedi, however, nobody on the Order could agree with him about the shape and fate of the Republic. Sarin was a cold-hearted being with no care in the innocents of anyone. He also was deceptive, choosing to leave Gunray behind and captured by the Republic. He was also loyal to Sidious, getting his permission to attack and receive new objectives.

Sarin was skilled with both his double-bladed lightsaber and his knowledge of the Force. He used several attacks of Force Lightning to attempt to kill Yoda, but had failed. Sarin also had skills enough to take on two Jedi.
Behind the Scenes[]
Khameir Sarin is a re-imagined version of the canon Darth Maul. In this version, User:Knuckleheads the Squirrel chose to have Alucard Dooku loyal to the Jedi and have Darth Maul fill in his shoes as the Sith Lord.
