Justin Rettik was the founder of the Mukhabarat. He was an expert assassin and a shrewd businessman who was able to hide his true occupation well behind his false fronts of the Happy Skies Casino and Yuhanna Arms.
Justin was born on Corellia in 59 BBY, where he studied economics and several martial arts forms, becoming an expert in Teräs Käsi and Kartranin. During this time he also became an expert marksman, and carried out several anonymous hired assassinations.
Rettik formed the Mukhabarat in 45 BBY after buying the Happy Skies Casino from an old entrepreneur who had let the casino fall into a state of disrepair. After renovating the casino and getting a good cash flow, he hired several skilled bounty hunters and assassins and formed the guild.
Ironically, after many years of leading the guild, the assassin was assassinated by the GenoHaradan, who were concerned with the Mukhabarat muscling into their territory. Rettik was shot in his sleep by a GenoHaradan infiltrator.
