The Jedi Padmé Trilogy is a series of three novels based around the precept of Padmé Amidala as a Jedi. The story begins with her as a Jedi Padawan, follows through with her as a Jedi Knight during the Clone Wars as well as her relationship with Anakin Skywalker.

• The premise for this series was a comment made by Natalie Portman about the Geonosis arena sequence in Attack of the Clones. Portman expressed disappointment at the fact that her character was the only one without a lightsaber.
