The Imperial family, also called House Palpatine, was the family of Emperor Palpatine. It began with his ascension to the throne in 19 BBY, and though he died in 12 ABY, it was continued by his descendent Suvorov Palpatine in 178 ABY, when he reformed the Galactic Federation Triumvirate into the New Dark Empire. It died off, as though Suvorov married Ruslana Solo, they did not have an heir before he died in 193 ABY.
