The Human Unity Front was a Humanocentrist terrorist organization based on Vall`to. It originated as the offshoot of a larger Humanocentrist group which sought to establish Human-friendly legislation through lobbying and financing (which sometimes equated to bribery). However, the Human Unity Front attempted to secure the same ends through coercion and violence.
The Front was suppressed by the Tetrarchy of Mezlagob and ostensibly abandoned its acts of violence, shrinking into the low hundreds of members. After the Great Liberation, when the Golden Empire defeated the Tetrarchy and non-Human Rin Sakaros succeeded the non-Human Tetrarchs, some members of the Human Unity Front began discussing a return to "traditional tactics". Its members were responsible for the deaths of some minor officials on Vall`to before scaling back activities in the face of investigation.
The Front initially supported Breek Zagrev, a Human Centurion and war hero of the Ssi-ruuvi Incursion. However, when she got engaged to Tariun Sakaros, the half-Human Phoenix Prince of the Empire, three operatives of the Front journeyed to Sanduluc to assassinate her at her wedding. Rin foresaw their plans and sent Zahyr, her personal assassin, to kill the snipers.
In 150 ABY, another three-being team from the Human Unity Front tried to kill Delliak and Nike Sakaros on Baes, viewing them as abominations due to their mixed Human-Sith heritage. Their shots were deflected by Zeth Kezzerek, Benzeel Rikos, and Breek herself, and the sniper team was apprehended by Kyriel Windrunner. The assassins were taken to the Sith Star and tortured for information, first by Royal Intelligence and then by Rin Sakaros personally.
When the assassins cracked and admitted their link to the Human Unity Front, Rin sent Aria Nikina, Rajj-Yo, and Ghess to Vall`to to wipe out the Front. One hundred fifteen adult and young adult members were summarily executed by the three Centurions. With their deaths and the executions of the three assassins, the Human Unity Front was eradicated.
On Rin's orders, Eskol Kaartinen publicly acknowledged the Order's role in the decimation of the group, stating that the members were executed, "in reponse to irrefutable evidence linking the Front to the attempted assassination of the children of Prince Tariun, Lord Sakaros." Aside from avenging the attack on her niece and nephew, Rin intended the public acknowledgement to send a message to other speciesist groups: she would have some measure of tolerance for them if they merely spoke and complained, but would not accept hate turning into action.
