Hardpoint was a slang term during the Legacy and Unity era's for the initial attack location in the invasion of a galactic power or planet.

The term was particularly popular amongst the members of the Sith Order of Decreto, and the term was later used during the Zao tenj War to describe the Zao tenj invasion point.
