Because this won’t actually appear in the recent changes without clicking “Show Droids,” I wanted to let you all know that a big article deletion is underway. By the time it’s over, a few hundred articles will have been deleted. Weeg, the bot operated by Jedi Master 76, is deleting all articles from Category:Articles to be cleaned up, Category:Articles that need to be fanonified, and Category:Articles that require a neutral point of view. If an article is in there, it’s because it was tagged for failing the Manual of Style or other relevant guidelines.
Additionally, virtually all of these articles have been tagged for at LEAST one week (some of them have been tagged for months and even years =/), so that means there was ample time to work on any errors, ask for help, etc. If you see that one of your articles has been deleted and you didn’t do anything to see to it that the improvement tags were removed, please remember that the responsibility falls on you to do so. Just to be clear, I’m well aware that some newer articles that have only been tagged for a few days will have been deleted in this. Collateral damage, unfortunately.
However, I’m not totally without a heart. I will be setting up a restoration request process on Star Wars Fanon:Restoration requests for articles to be restored if they were deleted. Users will have one week after the article has been restored to correct the errors in the articles. If the errors aren’t corrected in that time, which is PLENTY of time, the article will be deleted again and will not be restored again. This one week timeframe will be strictly enforced.

- Welp, it just deleted Cloak, which isn't my article, but apart of my group's fanon so I'm going to need to get that restored. God, why did he have to lose his internet connection? --Josh BenderTalk 21:57, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
- Funny part is that you're the one who tagged it. =P - Brandon Rhea (talk) 21:59, January 24, 2010 (UTC)
- I know, right? He told me he had it under control and then he lost his internet connection.--Josh BenderTalk 22:02, January 24, 2010 (UTC)

Just so everyone knows, those categories have been emptied. Unlike last time too, we were able to delete all of the corresponding talk pages so we don't need to worry about a bunch of random orphaned talk pages out there. - Brandon Rhea (talk) 00:01, January 25, 2010 (UTC)
- All of the broken redirects caused by this deletion have been deleted. - Brandon Rhea (talk) 18:12, January 30, 2010 (UTC)
