The Forces of Darkness was an army formed by the NSF General Kaxs. Kaxs left the Namelesennia system with almost the entire NSF. Half a year later, they returned - to conquer. Using the support of the Imperial Governor Tarn Grenn, Kaxs was able to build up a considerable force, and gain secret information that allowed him to steal exotic Imperial technology.
Kaxs had a natural skill in gaining trust in people, and thus, his forces came from all directions, such as defected soldiers from the NSF, hired mercenaries and bounty hunters, old Separatists.
