I'm a hunter. I hunt for my food and let me tell ya, Jedi sounds really good right now.
—Tag Tomo

A bounty hunter, Tag Tomo was a prominent ally for the criminal organization, Dragon Company during the Great Crime War of Nar Shaddaa due to her invaluable skills. Tag was also renowned among her fellow bounty hunters for her ability to kill Jedi, her hatred for them stemming from the fact that her entire family were all killed by a Jedi.

Tag had a varied career, she was first trained as a scoundrel during her time with her then guardian, Grob, a bounty hunter who she accompanied often during his jobs. She was then captured and became a slave for Jorra the Hutt. When she was freed she worked as a smuggler until she was trained by Eusil Mako to become a bounty hunter. She then joined Eusil along with Nash Oligard to form Sword Company, a criminal organization that took any job for credits with their frequent employer being Dragon Company.

During the Great Crime War, Tag sided with Dragon Company and became a reliable agent to them during their confrontations with Treyark and his Hutt allies. Although she technically survived the war, she was shot afterwards by Eusil, who had sided with Treyark during the conflict and died next to Nash who was also shot by their former teammate.

Biography[]

Early life (99 ABY–106 ABY)[]

Tag Tomo was born on Corellia in 99 ABY. Her family quickly moved to Nar Shaddaa with her parents hoping to find success due to the moon's reputation for crime. However, only three months after her birth, her parents, both bounty hunters, were killed by Throse Mako, a Nautolan Jedi Master when they tried collect the bounty on his head. This forced her brother, Tel Tomo, who was only seventeen at the time, to take care of his little sister. However, due to their nonexistent resources and the abundance crime, Tel and Tag were eventually captured by a group of men working for Jorra the Hutt who, at the time, was the most powerful crime lord on Nar Shaddaa.

In order to survive, Tel joined Jorra's gang in exchange for an apartment for him and his sister and pay. Tel continued to look after his sister, giving her whatever she wanted thanks to the credits he was making from his new job. However, this caused Tag to become spoiled and ungrateful. Tel made no effort to control his sister due to the guilt he felt from taking up his profession, the depression from losing his parents and the stress from taking care of his sister.

Living with Grob (106 ABY–115 ABY)[]

Tag: “I'm not going to listen to you!
Grob: “Do I look like your brother? From now on, you're going to do whatever I tell you to do. If I tell you to jump, you better believe you're going to jump. If I tell you to jump in a pit full of Bomas, you better believe you're going to jump in a pit full of bomas. If you don't, I'm going to beat you so bad that even Sith Lords will think I'm being too harsh and after I'm done, you're going to look up at me with a smile and you're going to thank me for putting you in your place!
―Grob telling Tag how life is going to be like living with him

In 106 ABY, Tel and a group of men were killed when Jorra ordered his men to attack a group of Jedi since one of the Jedi, a Barabel named Treyark Katyne, constantly offended the Hutt. With his death Tag was without a family and someone to look after her. Grob, one the few friends Tel made during his time working for Jorra, survived the attack on the Jedi and decided to take care of Tag as a favor to his fallen friend.

Grob quickly made it clear to Tag that he wasn't going to be lenient like her brother was. In fact, Grob was strict and even cruel at times when it came to dealing with Tag. This caused Tag to hate Grob and she eventually started blaming him for everything wrong in her life. Grob was apathetic to her accusations causing her to be emotionally distant and anti-social towards others. She also developed a violent temper which she showcased many times when she was confronted by someone who upset her.

In 109 ABY, Tag attacked a Twi'lek Jedi after overhearing that the woman was a part of Jedi group responsible for killing her brother. Tag started a confrontation with the Jedi. She managed to somehow disarm the woman. Grob, who had been watching the entire time, was impressed. After Tag managed to flee the scene, Grob found her and decided to become her teacher. Because of this, Grob and Tag's relationship turned from a reluctant and hateful one to that of a close student/teacher relationship.

By 115 ABY Tag developed skills in computer slicing, unlocking doors, disarming mines, stealth and treating wounds. She became a below average scoundrel. However, the most important skill she learned was to properly hunt a Jedi. Tag learned how to take down Jedi by exploiting their individual weaknesses and through the use of drugs and carefully placed explosives. This proved to be an invaluable asset to Grob thus, he decided to make the young woman his partner. Tag would help out her teacher, now a bounty hunter, with collecting bounties. During this time, the duo would refuse to work with Jorra as they both blamed him for the death of Tel. Offended, Jorra put a bounty on the duo.

Slave (115 ABY–118 ABY)[]

Due to a false tip, both Tag and Grob were ambushed by members of Jorra's gang during their mission to capture a Jedi. After a lengthy gun fight, Grob was eventually shot down and Tag was captured. However, instead of killing her, Jorra decided to make her into a slave.

Tag tried many times to escape but every attempt she made ended with her being beaten to a bloody pulp and locked up. She was drugged daily and was eventually forced to wear a collection of skimpy outfits and work as a slave/dancer in Jorra's pleasure yacht. Due to the horrific experiences she went through living on the yacht, Tag turned to death sticks as a means of escape. She eventually became addicted to death sticks and many other drugs during her time. After a few months, she eventually gave in and accepted her new life as a slave to the point where her newly-found submissive attitude made her a favorite among the men.

In 118 ABY, Tag met a fellow Corellian named Radded Rayse, a Jedi disguised as a scoundrel. His mission was to ally himself with Jorra in order to kill him by rigging the yacht with explosives. However, Radded took a romantic interest in Tag who for 3 years was nothing more than a mindless slave who only lived to fulfill the desires of the men in Jorra's gang. Radded slowly helped the young woman regain her sense of self. Though it wasn't an easy task, Radded eventually helped Tag rediscover her self-importance and the two fell in love. However, Radded was eventually caught and was taken before Jorra. Jorra revealed to Tag that Radded was a Jedi who was a part of the Jedi group who killed her brother, Tel. This left Tag feeling both distraught and betrayed. Despite this, Radded in turn revealed that he had already set explosives in the yacht and that the ship would be destroyed in a matter of seconds. The widespread panic gave the Jedi enough time to save both himself and Tag while the yacht was destroyed, killing Jorra and his gang.

On top of a building, Radded tried to explain himself to her. However, Tag wouldn't have anything of it. While trying to appeal to her, the woman stole his lightsaber and held it against the Jedi's throat. Radded made no excuses and prepared himself for Tag's attack. However, instead of beheading him, the former slave kicked Radded off the building where he fell into the depths of Nar Shaddaa. She then proudly declared her freedom and vowed to dedicate her life to killing the Jedi responsible for killing her brother. Tag would go on to become a bounty hunter just like Grob, her only father-figure. She learned not to trust others and decided to carry the weight of her vengeance until the day she killed all the Jedi responsible for her brother's death.

Smuggler (119 ABY)[]

By 119 ABY, Tag had not only resharpened her skills, but had improved upon them. However, after the failure of her first bounty, Tag decided to work odd jobs before starting up again. Tag reluctantly decided to work for the new Hutt, Grabbo who had taken over after Jorra's death. She Grabbo and his associates with smuggling illegal weapons and resources. However everyone one of those missions were all relatively short and easy jobs. It wasn't until she went to Coruscant did Tag have her first assignment that would put her life at risk. The job specifically was to meet up with a rogue Galactic Alliance agent on Coruscant where he would exchange illegal goods for credits. Everything went well until they were caught by Galactic Alliance soldiers. An Echani named Nash Oligard was among these soldiers. Most of Tag's partners were killed in the gunfight which forced her to go back into the ship where a group that included Nash followed her in. However, Tag was able to kill everyone but Nash who managed to take her down. Although he had her at gunpoint, Nash decided to let her go for unknown reasons.

Tag Smuggler

Tag during her brief tenure as a smuggler

After working a few more jobs for Grabbo, Tag decided that although she was good at being smuggler, she didn't want to work for a Hutt. Also, she knew she would never accomplish her goal of killing the Jedi who killed her family if she anything less than a bounty hunter. Tag wanted to quit but because she didn't know how to hunt other people, she decided to keep her job until she could find a suitable teacher. She eventually saw her opportunity when Grabbo set up a team that consisted of rogues soldiers, smugglers and bounty hunters that would attack a large Galactic Alliance supply ship and steal their goods. When they received the details, she was shocked to learn that the ship was being protected by the Nautolan Jedi Master Throse, the same Jedi who killed her parents. She eagerly took the job seeing it as an opportunity to not only kill the person who killed her parents, but to learn from the bounty hunters she would be working with. However, when she asked for their help she was quickly rejected. This caused her temper to explode which caused a confrontation with Nautolan bounty hunter named Eusil Mako. She was goaded into a fight where she lost. During the fight, the Nautolan told her, albeit in a mocking way, about the skills required to be a bounty hunter.

After their fight, the group finally made it to the ship where they wasted no in time in attacking. Everyone knew their jobs, the rogue soldiers were to kill any and every Galactic Alliance official while the smugglers stole the goods. The bounty hunters had to deal with any Jedi on board. During the skirmish, Throse managed to kill most of the bounty hunters. Tag, who was supposed to help the other smugglers, decided to help Eusil kill the Jedi Master. She managed to trap Throse in a room and the proceeded to throw a grenade at him. However, the Jedi not only survived but was back on the attack. Eusil was about to receive a killing blow until Tag shot several poisonous darts at his would-be killer. Throse, was shot several times by both Tag and Eusil to make sure the Jedi was dead. Impressed, the bounty hunter revealed himself to be Throse's brother and offered Tag to be his partner and to train her in being a bounty hunter which she eagerly agreed.

Bounty hunter (120 ABY–122 ABY)[]

First hunt[]

All people care about is making a profit. They'll do anything for it... even if it means killing one another. That's just how this galaxy works. Dammit all...
—Tag expressing her discontent with life after learning that bounty hunters no longer cared about the Bounty Hunter's Creed in Nar Shaddaa

By 120 ABY Eusil taught Tag how to become an efficient bounty hunter. She learned how to study her prey and how to properly hunt one whether their target was alone or in public. This, combined with her greatly improved skills made her a potentially dangerous hunter. Tag also learned that the Bounty Hunter's Creed no longer applied in Nar Shaddaa and that all bounties were fair game and that a hunter could kill another hunter. This caused her to gain a bleak outlook on life that she would carry with her for the rest of her life. Feeling that her training was complete, Eusil decided to have her participate in her first hunt. Her target was Ayrya Meu, the Twi'lek Jedi who helped kill her parents and the same one she encountered as a child.

Tag Tomo vs Dentaru

Tag takes on Dentaru

Tag studied her target extensively and learned that Ayrya was on a mission by the Jedi Council to find the fallen Nagai Jedi Dentaru K'rin. Tag learned of Ayrya's desire for a female romantic interest and used it to her advantage when she seduced the Jedi and drugged her. Tag then moved Ayrya to an apartment where she continued to drug the Jedi. Before Ayrya lost consciousness, Tag revealed her true identity and that the Twi'lek killed her brother. Tag then informed Eusil of what had happened and that she had planned to torture her victim ignoring the Nautolan's warning about keeping a captive alive. Eusil arrived and was horrified by what Tag had done to her target. As they argued, they were attacked by Dentaru who, after a short fight, escaped with Ayrya. Eusil scolded Tag and ordered her to give up. However, Tag refused and decided to capture both Jedi.

Unbeknownst to the Dentaru, Tag followed him to his hideout. Once there, she realized that the Nagai was in love with the Twi'lek. Tag assumed that Dentaru had fallen to the dark side due to some unrequited love and decided to use that against him. While he was distracted, Tag shot precisely at the Nagai's lightsaber. Despite his instincts, he couldn't save his blade. He pulled out a hidden knife instead and the two circled around the unconscious Ayrya. Tag goaded Dentaru into attacking her but to no avail. Dentaru thrashed her around, injuring her severly and breaking her arm. Before he could give the killing blow, the explosives that Tag had put around the hideout activated. Although she was injured and fatigued, Tag made out of the rubble with the Twi'lek. She then proceeded to kill Dentaru who, in his final moments, begged the young woman to understand why he did what he did. Tag merely responded by telling him that his motives for falling to the dark side were pathetic before shooting him in the head. Afterwards, Eusil arrived and helped Tag collect the bodies. Back at their apartment, the Nautolan told her that she had failed him. However, as a medical droid tended to her wounds, Eusil admitted to his student that he was impressed that she managed to take down a couple of Jedi on her own.

Working with Dragon Company[]

By 122 ABY Tag had become an effective hunter. She worked alone due to her suspicious nature. Even Eusil, the only person she had a close relationship with, had to go to great lengths to persuade her to help him. Tag's favorite targets were Jedi who happened to have a bounty on them on Nar Shaddaa. Her success in hunting them had bolstered her a reputation among her fellow bounty hunters. However, she also developed a bad reputation for her attitude, love of violence and her overall lack of respect for others.

Eusil confronted Tag about possibly working for Dragon Company, a criminal organization that consisted of former Galactic Alliance soldiers. Dragon Company's members had a reputation for being ruthless, near-invincible and getting the job done in the most effective way possible. Although she initially refused, her meeting with Holbrun K'rin, Dragon Company's leader and Dentaru's brother, ultimately convinced her to become their associate. Holbrun praised Tag for her ability to kill Jedi and that he was not at all bothered that she had killed Dentaru. Tag and Eusil were then given their first job working for Dragon Company. Their job was to hijack a Galactic Alliance ship protected by Jedi and steal all the supplies. The supplies would then be returned to Dragon Company.

Tag and Eusil infiltrated the ship where Tag proceeded to set up various traps that the Jedi fell for while Eusil took care of the Galactic Alliance soldiers. The two then proceeded to the bridge where they shot the last remaining Jedi and took control of the ship. Eusil then moved the supplies into their own ship while Tag watched over the hostages. Tag was both shocked and enraged to find that Nash, the Echani who had spared her three years ago during a smuggling operation, was among the captives. She mocked Nash for being weak and continued to do so until the latter saved her from a sneak attack by the Jedi she and Eusil had shot. Tag then took Nash as a hostage as her and Eusil returned back to their ship. However, as they tried to escape, they were pursued by X-wing starfighters. Nash took over as pilot and managed to destroy both X-wings and made it to safety. This impressed Eusil to the point where he offered Nash to join them which he accepted. Despite her disapproval of him, she nonetheless thanked him for saving them.

Sword Company (123 ABY–126 ABY)[]

Conflict with Nash[]

As 123 ABY rolled in, the team of Tag, Eusil and Nash had officially become a criminal organization known as Sword Company. Eusil, impressed with Holbrun's criminal organization, wanted to create a somewhat branch off of the Nagai's Dragon Company. Putting "sword" in the name was Tag's idea as she wanted it to be a reminder of her reputation for killing Jedi.

During a mission to pick up goods and resources, Tag and Nash were attacked by a group of Trandoshan bounty hunters who wanted them to hand over their stuff. Tag mocked Nash for trying to appeal to them and opened fire. Due to her improved use with weapons, Tag was able to force the Trandoshans to flee. She proceeded to grab Nash by the collar and mock him for being what she perceived as weak. She continued insulting him and told him he was useless and that she didn't know why she hadn't killed him yet. When they finished the mission, Tag brought him to the cantina where she questioned him about his views on people and the galaxy. She became upset when he wouldn't give her a direct answer. She then started a fight with a Gamorrean by throwing some juma juice on his head and then blamed Nash for the incident. Tag, thinking that Nash would try to defend himself, was disappointed when the Echani tried to make amends with the Gamorrean instead. The Gamorrean ignored and attacked him which she hoped would force Nash to fight back but he instead ran away while a large fight ensued. Disappointed and a little depressed, she decided to ignor the former soldier.

Tag showed no concern When Nash didn't report back to headquarters. She told Eusil of last night's events and begged the Nautolan to let her kill Nash and to see if they could make any credits for his body. However, the Echani did return, albeit, beaten and bruised. Tag was happy to learn that he had returned to the cantina to fight whoever messed with him. However, when he accused of her of being hasty and unintelligent, she became angry and drew her gun and held it against his head. Tag became more upset when Nash explained to her that missions didn't have to end in violence. This made Tag insecure about her lack of social skills and was about to pull the trigger before the former soldier punched her in the face. Tag, embarrassed and upset, left headquarters and went back to the cantina to start another fight.

Dentaru's revenge[]

Wayona: “Why don't you go back to your little cesspool of a moon and leave this to someone who actually knows what they're doing?
Tag: “Listen to me schutta, why don't you do me and everyone who knows you a favor by jumping in the Great Pit of Carkoon and find your own Darth Vader!
―Tag begins a rivalry with Wayona Vorse

Tag did not speak to Nash for five days which caused tension in their headquarters. It wasn't until Dragon Company gave them a new assignment did they start talking again but only out of necessity. During the briefing with Holbrun, both Tag and Eusil were shocked to find out that Dentaru was still alive and they were his target. Their job was to kill Dentaru who had been hiding in Tatooine and to bring his body back to Holbrun. When Nash asked about Tag's connection with their target, she blew him off and warned him to stay out of her way.

As they entered Mos Eisley, Tag suggested that they enter the cantina to find some answers. However, as they approached the place, they found that a battle had ensued. Always ready to pull the trigger, Tag joined the fight and learned that the person who started the whole thing was none other than Dentaru, their target. After a lengthy shootout, only Sword Company and the Nagai Jedi remained. Tag and Dentaru battled with one another with Tag using only her Blaster while Dentaru used a scout enforcer and a vibroblade. During the battle, Tag managed to shoot Dentaru's right shoulder which forced the Jedi to flee. However, as they went after them, the team was stopped by a Mandalorian bounty hunter named Wayona Vorse. She reminded the them about the Bounty Hunter's Creed and that they couldn't interfere with her hunt. Tag reminded her that the "No Hunter Shall Slay Another Hunter" law only applied to hunters that followed the creed and that there was no such code of honor for most hunters in Nar Shaddaa. This began a rivalry between the two women who both promised to find Dentaru before the other one did.

After a long night of searching through the desert, Sword Company decided to take refuge in a small cave where they would begin tomorrow. While Eusil slept, Nash attempted to clear things up with Tag who would have nothing of it. When he decided to give up, Tag told him about Dentaru and his connection with Ayrya. With more prodding from Nash, Tag eventually revealed her brother's death at the hands both Ayrya, Dentaru and two other Jedi that she left anonymous. She then warned Nash about feeling sorry for her and that if he ever brought up the subject again, she would kill him.

When they awoke, the three started up their search again. Hours passed and they eventually stopped in fatigue. Before they could return to Mos Eisley to replenish themselves, they were ambushed by a group of Sand People. Due to exhaustion, they couldn't put up a fight. Fortunately for them, they were rescued by Wayona who brought them back to Mos Eisley. She revealed that she had found Dentaru but that the Jedi had become more powerful and too much for her to handle on her own. She then offered to split the profits in exchange for help. Tag reluctantly agreed to aid her. With Wayona's help, they managed to track down Dentaru's hideout which was a cave that lead downwards. Dentaru confronted them and managed to take down both Nash and Eusil leaving Tag and Wayona to deal with their Jedi target. Tag ignored Wayona's suggestion to flee and come up with a strategy and tried to take down the Jedi on her own. Wayona reluctantly joined as well but Dentaru proved too much for the both of them. However, instead of killing them, Dentaru fled to his cave and Tag followed him shortly afterwards. When she finally caught up to the Nagai, she found him meditating with dark side energy surrounding him, an energy so potent that even a non-Force user such as herself could feel it. She learned from Dentaru that the cave was a hidden place filled with the dark side of the Force that he had created with the knowledge he gained from a Sith holocron. Tag began to flee much to the Dark Jedi's delight and he proceeded to chase after her. However, he found out too late that Tag had rigged the cave with hidden explosives and Dentaru would once again fall for the bounty hunter's trap. Tag, in order to make sure that he would stay dead this time, shot the corpse multiple times and took the holocron.

As they bid their farewells, Tag offered a handshake as a sign of friendship which the Mandolorian happily took. However, this was just part of the ruse that Tag had created to escape with Dentaru's body. When they returned to Nar Shaddaa. They returned the body and Tag sold the holocron for a high price in the black market. They then returned to headquarters where she praised Nash for his efforts against Dentaru and wanted to make amends with him.

The married couple[]

In 124 ABY, the team was given job to find two members of Dragon Company who had gone missing. Thinking that this was out of their league, Eusil was about to decline but Tag agreed to take the job and was willing to do it on her own. Holbrun gave her the details of her targets. Her targets were Guvor Tatt, a Mandalorian who served as Holbrun's second-in-command and Tana'a Zri, a Hapan. As she sought for clues and answers, she met up with Nash who wanted to help her simply because of their friendship. The two then went to the cantina so that Tag could explain the job. However, Tag saw a woman being harassed by a group Grabbo's men. Due to their comments being reminiscent to the comments made by Jorra's men during her days as the Hutt's slave, Tag lost her temper and threatened them. She was about to be attacked by behind until the woman protected her. Tag recognized her as Tana'a which caused the Hapan to stab Tag, mortally wounding her.

Tag was then sent back to headquarters where her teammates found out that the knife that Tana'a had used was laced with a poison that their medical droid couldn't do anything about it. This forced Nash to find Guvor and Tana'a by himself. Many hours later, Nash would come back with Radded Rayse. Tag, unconscious did not see Radded. Radded healed her and then left shortly afterwards. When Tag regained consciousness, Nash told her about Guvor and Tana'a and how he and unidentified Jedi helped them leave Nar Shaddaa in order for them to get married and start a new life. He also told her that a Jedi had healed her. When she asked about the Jedi's identity, Nash could only describe him. When he did so, she was shocked in disbelief but she ultimately refused to believe that it was Radded.

The Great Crime War of Nar Shaddaa (126 ABY–128 ABY)[]

Shattered alliances[]

Life on Nar Shaddaa had gone into a lull. Crime was down, there were fewer bounties being posted and although there were still plenty of jobs, most of them were simple and very rarely did anyone find themselves in a fight. Back at headquarters, everyone except Tag enjoyed this period of peace. Tag felt like her world was beginning to fall apart when Eusil expressed his desire to quit the crime business and settle down. The fear that everyone in her life would leave her only strengthened when Nash told them that his plan to go back to Coruscant and use the credits he had made with Sword Company to travel the galaxy. Nash offered her to come with him and experience a life outside of crime. She declined his offer feeling that she deserved to be on Nar Shaddaa.

Tag Tomo(2)

Tag Tomo in 126 ABY

However, this peace would end in 126 ABY when a Dark Jedi, a Barabel named Treyark Katyne wanted to use Nar Shaddaa for Force gather, the same technique that Dentaru had used back on Tatooine. Treyark wanted to start a war with the Jedi and tried to recruit members of Nar Shaddaa's criminal underworld. Not wanting the Smuggler's Moon to go to a possible war with the Galactic Alliance, Dragon Company declared war on Treyark and whoever sided with him. Although initially excited, Tag was felt betrayed when Eusil decided to join Treyark due to the fact that the Fallen Jedi had made an alliance with the Hutts. Enraged, Tag ordered Eusil to leave, thus ending Sword Company.

A couple days later, Wayona arrived to aid Dragon Company. Wayona revealed to Tag that Radded was still alive. When Tag explained her connection with him to Nash, tensions grew. The three of them, along with many others in Nar Shaddaa's crime circuit, joined the side of Dragon Company. During a meeting with the organization, everyone was given their respective jobs. Tag and Wayona became agents while Nash became an adviser for Holbrun as the Nagai sought the aid of the Galactic Alliance. Before they went their separate ways, Tag confronted Nash and the two got into a fight with Tag having to be held back by Wayona. After he left, Tag erupted in anger as she destroyed her headquarters.

Dragon Company's building was attacked by Treyark due to the fact that most of it's members were away. Tag was one of the groups sent to aid the members that remained. However, after a skirmish outside the building with Treyark's new forces, courtesy of the Hutts, only Tag and a few others were left to confront the Dark Jedi. They entered the building and joined the Dragon Company members who had stayed to face Treyark. However, despite the deaths of his new henchmen, the Dark Jedi's power proved to them that they didn't stand a chance. He was about to escape until Radded arrived. Radded dueled Treyark with nothing but a vibroblade which gave everyone enough time to leave the building. The building exploded but Treyark escaped. Tag found Radded under the rubble and with his dying breath, apologized for everything he had done to her and that he loved her. Tag shed tears as he died in her arms. Afterwards, Tag and the surviving allies were sent to the headquarters of another organization to heal up. When Nash arrived, Tag told him about what had happened and cried in front of him while he held her.

The prisoners[]

I've always wanted to fight someone from Holbrun's little club of gizka. The fact that you're a Sith now is just icing on the air cake.
—Tag to Tana'a

By 127 ABY, Nar Shaddaa had become a war zone. Fortunately for Tag, Dragon Company were on their way to victory due to their combat experience and military tactics. It was also during this time that another war was going on. This helped Dragon Company since it made the Galactic Alliance too preoccupied to interfere with their own war.

In order to infiltrate a palace in Nal Hutta where Treyark's Hutt associates resided in, Tag once again took up the role as a slave along with Wayona and they joined Nash, who had disguised himself as a majordomo two months prior. With Wayona, the two were about to assassinate the Hutts until a red-and-black tattooed Hapan attacked them. Tag was shocked to find that the Hapan was not only a Sith, but that she was Tana'a, the woman who had escaped Dragon Company with her fiancé, Guvor. The Hutts escaped while the three scantily-clad women fought each other. However, the fight ended once Tana'a's reinforcements arrived. Seeing no other way out, Tag and her teammates were forced to surrender and were locked up in force cages. From Nash, she learned that when Tana'a and Guvor escaped from Nar Shaddaa, they were captured by Treyark who found out about the Hapan's secret connection to the Force and turned her into his apprentice while Guvor was killed.

Imprisoned for five days, the group was finally freed after members of Dragon Company shut down the palace. While they killed the Hutts, Tag chased after Tana'a who was attempting flee Nal Hutta. The two fought in a lengthy battle but it ended when Dragon Company arrived. Since Dragon Company wanted their former comrade alive for interrogation, Tag was forced to step back and return to the ship. During their trip back to Nar Shaddaa, Tag explained to Nash about her uneasiness of playing as a slave due to her experiences on Jorra's yacht. The two were about to kiss until they were told that Tana'a had escaped from her cage. The two confronted the Sith and Tag fought with her for the third time. When the members of Dragon Company came to help her, Tag told them not to interfere which they complied. Tag eventually defeated her opponent by shooting both her arms and legs. However, before Tag could finish her off, Nash persuaded her to give up and join them by mentioning Guvor. When she refused, Tag shot her in the face, thus killing her.

When they arrived back at headquarters, Tag tried to comfort a disturbed Nash but their conversation turned into an argument about the war, their lives as criminals and their relationship. They eventually settled down enough for Tag to tell Nash that their lives made it impossible for them to have a romantic relationship.

Final assault[]

In 128 ABY, Tag learned that Treyark had tried and failed to get the Sith on his side due them entering the Sith–Imperial War. With the assumption that he had little to no allies and no chance of victory, Dragon Company ordered a full on attack on the Dark Jedi's remaining forces with Tag joining them while Nash, Wayona and another group went to kill Treyark himself. However, they were ambushed by Eusil and his group. During the skirmish, Tag faced off against her former teacher. During their fight, Tag learned from Eusil that after the death of the Hutts, he and his group made an agreement with the Barabel that they would be paid double if he won the war. Due to their forces greatly outnumbering theirs, Tag and her group were forced to run back to headquarters. However, the building was destroyed with dead bodies all around them, including Holbrun's. Tag and her remaining allies surrendered.

Before Eusil and his forces could finish them off, Nash, Wayona and their group arrived much and showed Eusil and his allies the dead body of Treyark and revealed that the Barabel died when his attempt to use Force gather ultimately consumed him. Knowing that there was no more profit to gain, the forces gave up. Eusil, not wanting to be defeated shot the Echani. Enraged, Tag shot her former teacher. As the large group of criminals started to leave, Tag cradled Nash who, with his dying breath, told Tag he loved her in the same manner that Radded had done when he died. After sharing a final kiss, Eusil shot Tag in the back before finally being killed by Wayona. Being by Nash's side in death, she told him, before dying, that she loved him too.

Personality and traits[]

Don't even try, kid. Tag does whatever she wants. A rock has more of conscience than she does.
—Eusil to Nash

Tag was a merciless killer who loved violence and confrontation. She had a volatile temper and often acted out of impulse. However, despite this, she had a soft appearance which would surprise others when they found out what kind of person she really was. This was intentional since most of her missions required her to go undercover and she wanted to retain an "innocent" look and would only drop the façade around her teammates or associates.

Although she was quick to anger and sometimes shot before thinking, Tag could also be cautious and analytic, these traits were further emphasized during missions where Jedi were her target which was often. Tag's hatred for Jedi developed when she lived with Grob. Before she became the latter's partner, the two had a tumultuous and hateful relationship. Tag blamed the Jedi for ruining her life by killing her brother which forced her to live with Grob. As she grew older and gained more of an understanding, she grew to resent all Jedi and blamed all of them collectively for the death of her parents and her brother. She even trained herself to kill one effectively. Her hatred was deep, so much so that even though she had fallen in love with Radded Rayse, when she found out about his involvement with her brother's death, she pushed him off a building and when she became a bounty hunter, she drugged and tortured Ayrya Meu for the same reason. In fact, as a bounty hunter, her favorite targets were Jedi. Her hatred for Jedi would last throughout her entire life.

Perhaps the biggest reason why Tag had become that way was due to her horrific experiences as a slave for Jorra the Hutt where she was trapped in the Hutt's pleasure yacht for three years. During her time, she became addicted to death sticks, a drug she frequently used to try to escape from her traumatic experiences. After her freedom, she became suspicious of others and rarely ever trusted anyone. Her loud, obnoxious behavior masked what she actually felt inside thus, she became emotionally-distant and unsympathetic towards others. She later developed a bleak outlook on the galaxy and all of it's sentient life.

Despite her shortcomings, she cared for her companions and was loyal to them. She respected Eusil and enjoyed Nash's presence, though she wouldn't admit the latter. She later viewed her Sword Company teammates as family. In fact, she became dependent on them and relied on them to be there for her and when the two started to talk about their futures away from Nar Shaddaa, she expressed sadness and became scared that she was going to be abandoned again.

Relationships[]

Radded Rayse[]

Tag met Radded during her time as a slave. Radded took an immediate interest in her and went to great lengths to help her with her internal struggles. Thanks to Radded, Tag rediscovered her self-importance and the two fell in love. This would not last however as Radded was discovered to be a Jedi in disguise and that he played a role in her brother's death. When Jorra's ship blew up, instead of thanking him for her freedom, she stole his lightsaber and kicked him off a building.

She met him three times after that but she was unconscious for the first two times. She was completely unaware of his survival and the fact that he saved her life by healing a stab wound she had sustained during her mission to find the two ex-members of Dragon Company. The third time she met him, Radded saved her life once again by sacrificing his own. With his last dying breath, Radded told her that he loved her which moved Tag to tears. Although she could never forgive him for killing her brother, she let go of her contempt for him.

Nash Oligard[]

Tag: “I'm warning you Nash, if you get in my way I'll kill you. Do you understand me? I will put this blaster right on your forehead and pull the trigger!
Nash: “Don't worry everyone, she won't do it. I'm the closest thing to a boyfriend she'll ever get

Tag and Nash

In the beginning, Tag had a volatile relationship with Nash. She initially viewed him as worthless and out of place. She would threaten his life constantly and would've killed him during their first argument if it weren't for Eusil's interference. Her dislike for him only worsened every time Nash would question her about her past since the reason for her behavior was because she didn't want to think about her life. Although she never truly respected the Echani, seeing him as a coward and a pathetic excuse for a soldier, she did grow to care for him and even became protective over him as they years went by.

Although initially afraid of her, Nash would later become used to her behavior to the point where he even found it amusing. He would even go as far as to tease the bounty hunter, knowing that her threats against him were empty. This back and forth slowly turned into flirting but for the most part, their relationship stayed platonic.

However, during the Great Crime War, Eusil left Sword Company leaving Nash the only person she could trust. She became more open with him and admitted several times that she only felt comfortable when he was around. It was because of Nash that her abrasive personality had noticeably started to soften. As the war went on, they started to become closer and it soon became clear that she had become attracted to him. This caused Wayona to tease her about her and Nash's relationship.

When Tag was forced to reprise her role as a slave in order to infiltrate the Hutt palace, she shared her feelings with Nash which lead to them almost kissing. However, when they returned to Nar Shaddaa, she told Nash that due to their circumstances, they could never have a romantic relationship. It wasn't until Nash's death did they finally kiss and it wasn't until her own death did Tag finally admit that she loved him. The two died next to one another.

Behind the scenes[]

Tag was originally supposed to be a male character until NemethBooshi, the character's creator, decided that there weren't enough female characters in the Star Wars universe. Tag's name was meant to mirror Han Solo's name with the consonants in the surname "Tomo" being the next letters in the alphabet from "s" and "l" in "Solo" respectively. Nemeth also wanted alliteration thus, he settled with "Tag".

Tag was based on the character Revy from Black Lagoon. She shared many traits with Revy such as her love for violence, her quick temper, her bleak outlook on life and being particularly foul-mouthed. Even Tag's bounty hunter outfit was modeled after Revy's outfit. Tag was also based on Mission Vao from the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic video game. Although she didn't share her personality, her life was modeled after the Twi'lek's and both were highly skilled.

When writing Tag's article, Nemeth did not intend to give her such a varied career. The original idea was that she would learn how to become a bounty hunter by a very young age and would stay one until her death. However, according to Nemeth, "things just turned out that way". Her professions proved beneficial as it added more depth to her character from just being the bloodthirsty and merciless killer she was originally intended be. Tag was also supposed to be a short redhead but Nemeth felt that she would resemble too much like Mira from Knights of the Old Republic 2. Nemeth also made her quite tall in order to make her seem more imposing.
