The Fanon Menace: Season 1 followed (loosely) the storyline of Episodes I, II, and III. There were 30 episodes in the first season that developed the characters of Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Padmé Amidala. Throughout the first season, the hidden plans of the two masterminds were beginning to be seen. Padmé rose to power and influence, Anakin became a Jedi Master and was twisted by the dark side, and Obi-Wan Kenobi found his place as the old hermit in the desert.
On the lonely planet of Tatooine, Anakin Skywalker was found and taken in by Qui-Gon Jinn, a Jedi Master. Qui-Gon passed Anakin on to his apprentice who taught Anakin the skills to fight the Sith. Anakin traveled throughout the galaxy with Obi-Wan, Qui-Gon's Padawan until they discovered a plot to kill Padmé. From there, the two Jedi split up, one protected Padmé and the other searched for the killer. When they found out who was behind the plot, it broke out into war, scarring the galaxy. This paved the way for Anakin to rise to Master and became both Jedi and father. With Padmé pregnant, more responsibility fell on Anakin as the need to keep her alive arose. With this, the mastermind played with Anakin, until he fell into a trap and turned to the dark side of the Force, leaving the galaxy in darkness.
Season 1 managed to gross close to 8,000 total views during its air on YouTube. That number continued to climb, however, as time went on. "Episode 1: Droid Control Ship - Naboo" remained at the top of the list of most viewed for half of the season’s airing time, until "Episode 10: Jango Fett" beat the record, gaining over 2,000 views. Episode 10 remained the number one most viewed episode to the end of the season. However, towards the end of the first season, views began to dwindle, and the show’s popularity faded. The creators of The Fanon Menace also decided to release a mini-series in between Season 1 and Season 2 called The Fanon Menace: A Day in the Life of a Stormtrooper. This mini-series revived the show’s status and prepared viewers for Season 2.
Preface[]
Shortly before the outbreak of the Stark Hyperspace War, two isolated figures gathered together to form their diabolical plan to overthrow the Galactic Republic. They remained unknown until the opportune moment struck. One of them left their hiding place and traveled to the planet of Naboo, where a trade agreement was being held between the Naboo and the Trade Federation. Hoping to cause unrest in the Galaxy, the culprit sent a transmission into the Republic informing them of a pirate organization amassing to resist the Republic. With that, the outbreak of the Stark Hyperspace War occurred.
From there, the culprit moved quickly to set the next stage into work. He hired a well respected man named Frank to be the template of a clone army. While doing that, he also started to round the opposition, a confederacy of free trade against the Republic. However, he knew that only the outcome of the Stark Hyperspace War would tell whether the confederacy would continue to exist.
With the war coming to an end, the trade agreement with Naboo suddenly halted as the Naboo felt as if they were being robbed of their resources. The Trade Federation had set up a blockade until a peace treaty could be signed agreeing to allow the Trade Federation to continue trade, this time at a more fair price.
While concerned both with the preservation of the stability on Naboo and its key existence within the Republic, the Republic sent two Jedi Knights to Naboo to moderate the signing of the peace treaty. But the Jedi had another mission, one from the Jedi Order itself. They were assigned to search out the rumored Chosen One, who would bring the days of confusion, chaos, and conflict to an end, and discover the two culprits who started it all. Flying to the blockade, the two Jedi ran into trouble, as they were mistaken for delegates who wanted to disrupt the peace treaty, and were forced to retreat to the planet of Naboo.

Part I - The Fanon Menace[]

Part I of Season 1 of The Fanon Menace followed Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace. The opening scene was on the Droid Control Ship over Naboo, where Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon hijacked an MTT to take down to Naboo. Once they reached the planet, they landed the MTT and searched out Padmé Amidala. They found her outside the palace and attacked the droids who were "forcing" her to sign the peace treaty. They then tried to persuade her to travel with them to Coruscant, but when she didn’t respond, they took Padmé by force, by removing her head and taking it with them since her body was not willing, and traveled back to a ship, which they used to travel to Tatooine.
On Tatooine, they met up with an accidental stowaway from Naboo. The Gungan Jar Jar Binks had accidentally fallen into the hole where the Naboo kept their ships, since they couldn't afford hangars, and wound up on Padmé's ship. They continued journeying through Mos Espa until Jar Jar knocked a small speeder off the ledge of a cliff. There they met Watto, the owner of the speeder, and young Anakin Skywalker. With the help of Watto they purchased a new hyperdrive for the ship; the old one had been found broken. They negotiated a trade-off for it; the agreement being, Anakin in return for a holoprojector with the image of a hyperdrive motivator, R2-D2, and 20,000 Republic dataries.

During the negotiations, Anakin proclaimed his undying love for Padmé and asked her to marry him. She refused, stating that she might marry him in a later episode if she felt up to the challenge. They thanked Watto for his "cooperation" and continued on their way. They arrived at the Boonta Eve Racetrack and began to watch the podrace, but watched only a split second of the race before deciding it was boring and left Tatooine. On their way out, Qui-Gon Jinn anointed Jar Jar the keeper of Anakin Skywalker.
They returned to Naboo, bringing the queen with them and reuniting her head with her body. Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan cleared the entrance to the Royal Palace as Jar Jar and Anakin left to fight the droids elsewhere. Meanwhile, on another part of the planet, the Gungans had finally become fed up with Trade Federation control. With the help of The Cleaner Guy and the Maintenance Droid, who were also tired of their jobs, to clean the battlefields of the galaxy, they annihilated the advancing droid army, both sides sustaining numerous injuries. Mean while, Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi fought Darth Maul, Sidious' Sith apprentice, just inside the Palace corridor. Darth Maul attempted to defeat Qui-Gon, but accidentally hit Obi-Wan and sent him hurtling across the giant chasm.
Darth Maul then leaped in for a final attack, but was stopped in his tracks. Qui-Gon held Darth Maul by his hood a couple feet off the ground and said his goodbyes. Darth Maul tried to Force Push Qui-Gon back, but Qui-Gon was wearing the latest in fashion, magnetic boots. He was also three times the height of Darth Maul, which helped his stability a little. Instead Qui-Gon flying backwards, this caused Darth Maul to soar off the edge of the fight area, with the exact force that the push exerted against Qui-Gon, saving the galaxy from further terrorization.

Shortly after Darth Maul’s fall, Obi-Wan leaped back across the giant chasm, using his Amazing Jedi Back Flip, to meet up with Qui-Gon. He barely missed the ledge and was forced to dangle over the edge of the cliff Darth Maul had just fallen over. He pulled himself up and flipped back onto the ledge, then stabbed Qui-Gon through the gut. Since it was only a flesh wound, Qui-Gon survived the stab and forgave Obi-Wan for getting too carried away. He explained to Obi-Wan the reason he survived Darth Maul’s attack and together they returned to the queen to celebrate their victory.
Later, Qui-Gon instructed Anakin in the way of the Jedi, giving him four principles to always remember. He informed Anakin that he would pass him onto his apprentice, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and continued with three more principles. The instructions included mentioning that Obi-Wan would become Anakin's new master, that a lightsaber was very sharp and could cut many things, and that there was great risk in challenging Frank the Clone Trooper to a limbo contest. When Qui-Gon was done, Yoda came in to affirm it and warned Anakin about the Dark Side. Anakin acknowledged them as facts and together they left. Qui-Gon went into hiding, Anakin became Obi-Wan’s apprentice, and the Jedi Council began to grow.
Part II - Attack of the Franks[]

Part II of Season 1 of The Fanon Menace followed Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones. This part opened with Padmé attempting to leave Naboo to head to the Capital. But shortly before she could leave, the vessel exploded on the platform. Zam Wessel flew in, trying to flee the scene. Obi-Wan and Anakin walked up to watch her leave, but when they heard that Padmé's ship blew up, they immediately searched for a speeder to chase down Zam. During the very short chase, Zam had an accident and spun out of control, crashing into a wall and mortally wounding herself. Anakin and Obi-Wan found and questioned her extensively before she "died". During the investigation, they discovered that she was hired by a bounty hunter named Jango Fett who had a son and a ship called the Slave I.
The Jedi Council called a meeting to discuss the issues that had arisen. The council decided to send Obi-Wan to Kamino to track down the bounty hunter, Jango Fett. The council also agreed to send Padmé into hiding, escorted by Anakin. Together they traveled to the lake country where they would be safe. However, no one else around them was safe. Anakin accidentally drove the speeder straight into the docks, nearly killing The Cleaner Guy and causing a lot of damage to the dock itself. Anakin made up a story that the speeder was hard to control, but the real fact was that he just could not pilot.

Meanwhile, Obi-Wan arrived on Kamino in search of the bounty hunter named Jango Fett. While he was still on the platform, he met two Kaminoans who informed him about an order for a clone army that was placed by Jedi Master Sifo-Dyas on behalf of the Republic to fight the Clone Wars. Obi-Wan was confused with the new information and requested to talk to Lama Su. Unfortunately, the two Kaminoans could not remember Obi-Wan’s name and continued calling him random people throughout his stay on Kamino, and even afterwards, as long as they were on the same planet.
Eventually, Obi-Wan was taken to see Lama Su where he asked about the clone army, repeating exactly what the Kaminoans who escorted him there had told him. Lama Su replied that there was not much more to add to it. Lama Su did, however, allow Obi-Wan to see the clone army. Obi-Wan was slightly taken aback when he discovered that they all wore yellow and requested the color be changed to white, because it was his favorite color. Lama Su agreed to change the color to white, but insisted on sticking with yellow for captains and pilots.
While they were inspecting the clone army, Lama Su brought up the fact that the entire army was a template of one individual, Frank the Clone Trooper. Even Jango Fett was a clone. Lama Su explained that Frank demanded that he could demand two things. Those two things were two unaltered clones, one who he called Jango Fett and the other who he gave to Jango, who called him Boba Fett. Upon hearing that they knew Jango Fett, Obi-Wan requested a meeting with Jango, but had to leave to visit "guests" that were waiting for him at the platform.

After finally hearing what he wanted to find out from Lama Su, Obi-Wan discovered that the council had traveled to Kamino to meet with him. There, he informed them about Frank, Jango, Boba, and the entire clone army. They decide that Jango Fett must be confronted. Obi-Wan met Jango, who managed to escape his grasp during their meeting together. Obi-Wan chased him to Landing Platform 9 (coincidentally the same platform his ship was on) and they fought for posterity's sake. Jango started to leave when Obi-Wan inquired as to where Jango was going. Jango told him he was headed to Geonosis and placed Obi-Wan's homing beacon on the Slave I.
As Obi-Wan desperately searched for the bounty hunter, Anakin and Padmé remained in the Lake Country where they were safe. But when Anakin sat down to watch a big game of smashball; he was interrupted by a sudden message from Tatooine. It was from a guy named Cliegg Lars and said that his wife had been captured by Sand People. Padmé felt a sudden conviction to help Cliegg, even though they did not know him. After failing to find a good excuse to stay on Naboo, Anakin agreed to travel to Tatooine and help out Cliegg.

Once on Tatooine, Anakin haggled with Watto over the location of Shmi Skywalker, Anakin’s mother. There he found out that Watto had sold her to a man named Cliegg Lars. He also told Anakin that Lars had freed Shmi and married her. Anakin started to leave, but realized that he had no speeder. After borrowing 995 credits to buy the speeder that Jar Jar broke, Anakin and Padmé were well on their way to the homestead.
He arrived at the homestead to discover only C-3PO was there. C-3PO gave Anakin correct directions to the Tusken Camp, after the Jedi had mixed it up with the tourist attraction, Tusken Village. Anakin borrowed Cliegg’s speeder and raced off to find Shmi. When he got there, after taking care of all the Tuskens (accidentally), he found his mother, who was not actually captured by the Tuskens, just took Exit 43 instead of Exit 42 and wound up on the Bantha Backroads. Anakin took her back to the homestead, collected Padmé, and headed off to their ship, leaving the speeder that Jar Jar broke at the homestead. At the ship they found Obi-Wan, who thought he was on Geonosis, and were able to point him in the right direction and headed to Geonosis themselves.

On Geonosis, Anakin and Padmé were captured by a Geonosian and taken to Dooku. Obi-Wan landed elsewhere and sneaked into the SIC (System of Independent Confederates) meeting, and found out that Dooku had the plans to the ultimate weapon, the Death Star. After learning the secret, Obi-Wan called Anakin on the comlink and had him transmit the message to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. However, the message was intercepted by Dooku. When he learned who the message was supposed to go to, Dooku gladly handed the comlink to Anakin and a short conversation later, another Council meeting was called, this one on Geonosis. Dooku found out about the meeting and broke it up; arresting Obi-Wan and taking him back to the arena to be executed, apologizing to the other masters about the necessity of this act.
In the arena, Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Padmé were strapped to three large pillars waiting to be executed by a mutated nerf. The nerf, however, was not the smartest creature and slammed into the pillars, knocking them over and freeing the three prisoners. Mace Windu appeared and threatened Dooku, but was still no match for the droid army Dooku unleashed to take out Obi-Wan, Anakin, and Padmé. But before the droids could act, an LAAT/i, commanded by Yoda, dropped from the sky and rescued the three captives, Master Windu, and the two other Jedi that were with him.

The LAAT/i managed to lock onto Dooku’s position and started following him, with Anakin at the controls. During the flight, Anakin hit two sand dunes which knocked out all but one clone trooper (Frank in disguise) and all Jedi except Yoda and Obi-Wan. Anakin landed the LAAT/i inside the hangar where Dooku and the other Separatists were meeting. Everyone but Dooku fled and left him to confront Obi-Wan and Anakin. Together they confronted Dooku, but were quickly taken down as Dooku leaped into the air, allowing the two Jedi to run into each other. As Dooku landed, he accidentally cut off Anakin’s right arm. Dooku suddenly remembered the one remaining Jedi he had yet to face, Yoda.
Yoda and Dooku jumped in and started fighting each other, but Dooku managed to flee. Padmé, who was with them in the LAAT/i, ran up to Anakin and Obi-Wan and helped them to their feet. Yoda walked up and congratulated Anakin on his first fight. They left the hangar and returned to the main group on Geonosis, where the clones were entering the hangar for extraction. But there, overlooking the army, Darth Sidious and Dooku revealed their plans for galactic domination, stating that he had strategically placed Frank as the clone template. Located on the other side, Yoda and Mace conversed about the battle that had taken place on Geonosis. There Yoda gently exclaimed that a new war had erupted, a Clone War.

Shortly after the Battle of Geonosis, everyone returned to Naboo for celebration. One of those celebrations was the Anakin and Padmé's wedding. People from the entire galaxy that knew the two were at the wedding, though a couple of them had no idea what was going on. At the wedding, the Kaminoan that had pestered Obi-Wan on Kamino and Geonosis was there and Obi-Wan was finally able to tell him who he was. But of course, he ended up stealing the attention away from Anakin and Padmé, who were then happily married. Padmé took Anakin by the arm and removed his right arm (the one that had been cut off and placed back on just for the wedding) and escorted him to the doctors to get the mechanical arm.
Part III - Revenge of the Bith[]

The space battle over Naboo.
Part III of Season 1 of The Fanon Menace followed Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. It opened with a space battle over Naboo, right after Obi-Wan caused them to miss the SIC Fleet over Coruscant because he had to go to the bathroom. Anakin and Obi-Wan started in the hangar of the Invisible Hand, since no one wanted Anakin flying a starfighter, as no one knew how much damage he could cause with something that fast. They immediately started searching for Palpatine, who was nowhere to be found. They finally found him off set, eating donuts. Anakin and Obi-Wan forced him to explain and found out he got bored and hungry waiting up in the spire with Dooku. They asked Palpatine if Dooku was still there and he responded yes.
Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Palpatine arrived in the spire to face Dooku, despite Anakin's wondering why it was so imperative that they fight Dooku, since they already had Palpatine. The battle started off with some very pathetic verbal jousting, during which Dooku nearly revealed that Palpatine was Darth Sidious. All three jumped in and started fighting Dooku. Obi-Wan attempted his Amazing Jedi Back Flip, but hit his head on the railing and was ultimately knocked unconscious by a fuse that blew out next to his foot. Dooku and Anakin finished the fight, but Dooku was running late for a smashball game and excused himself from the remainder of the fight. Anakin grabbed Obi-Wan and they left the spire.

The three of them decided to return to the hangar to see if they could find an exit, but they were captured by a mysterious sliding glass door. They attempted to find another way, but were surrounded by SIC Battle Droids and gave up. They were taken to General Grievous, but Grievous was foolish enough to say Anakin’s line. Anakin grew furious and pulled out his lightsaber. Grievous called for his IG-100 Magnaguards, but they never showed up. Grievous then decided to fight Anakin and Obi-Wan himself, and after a brief battle was forced to flee. Obi-Wan insisted that Anakin land the Invisible Hand on Naboo, but Anakin was afraid that he would kill someone. He did it anyway and they landed relatively safely on Naboo.
Once on Naboo, Palpatine tried to entice Anakin to the dark side, but Anakin already knew who he was, so it was pointless for Palpatine to continue. Palpatine finally stopped trying and they were greeted by Mace Windu and a couple Senators; one such was Bail Organa, the Senator from Alderaan. Anakin heard a beeping in the background and excused himself, running off to meet Padmé, who had news for him that she thought would be well-received. However, she could not remember what she had to say. Anakin assured her that he felt the war was going to end soon. They started walking away when Padmé suddenly remembered: she was pregnant.

Anakin was abruptly called in to join the Council for a meeting. There he was told that he was going to be promoted to the Council. He whined just a little and got promoted to Jedi Master, which surprised him. They walked off to the Council Chamber, which was wherever the council happened to be, to discuss more prominent issues. Once they were at the Council Chamber, Master Yoda agreed to go to Kashyyyk to help the Wookiees against the SIC invaders.
That night, Anakin had a dream. He saw Padmé and a young Luke behind her. Luke cried out to Anakin and Anakin replied. But when he saw Padmé again, she was lying on the ground and Obi-Wan sat next to her. He saw himself again, only he was dressed in black. Then he saw Old Obi-Wan and Luke with lightsabers ignited. Next, Sidious walked in and said, "I can save her." Anakin woke from the dream and immediately went to tell the Council. He found Yoda sitting by himself and walked up to him. Yoda interpreted the dream to mean that Anakin was going to be a great father no matter what happened. The rest of the Council appeared and they agreed to send Obi-Wan to Utapau to confront Grievous.

Anakin was still disturbed by the dream and went to tell Mace Windu about Sidious being the mastermind behind it all, but when he brought his concerns to the Jedi Master, Mace wouldn’t hear it. He didn’t want the suspense to be spoiled. So, Anakin took Mace Windu to Palpatine, who transformed before their eyes. Mace Windu and Sidious fought, but Mace was knocked off the edge of the balcony. Anakin joined Sidious to save Padmé, but only until she gave birth, and was sent to Mustafar.
Meanwhile, Obi-Wan arrived on Utapau, looking for Grievous. He ran into him and they started to fight. However, Grievous suffered a near fatal asthma attack during the fight and fell down, unconscious. When Obi-Wan returned to the clones, he met up with Commander Cody. Cody suddenly received a message from his wife that said he was to kill Obi-Wan according to Order 66. Obi-Wan ran from the clones that were chasing him and sneaked into a SIC bomber and flew away.

While Obi-Wan was fighting Grievous, Yoda met up with Chewbacca on Kashyyyk. Chewbacca took Yoda to the battle where a small band of clones turned on him. Master Windu entered with the clone turbo tank, scattering the droids at the other side of the battlefield and confusing the clones on Kashyyyk. Master Windu informed Yoda that Palpatine was Darth Sidious and that he sent out "Order bixty-bix" to kill all Jedi. Yoda thanked him and left. Master Windu asked the clones if he could leave too, and they let him. Chewbacca led Yoda back to an escape pod to allow him to escape. Yoda entered the escape pod, saying he was going into exile and left. Around that time, Padmé arrived on Mustafar to meet up with Anakin, who was sent to take care of the SIC leaders, but no one was there. They both saw a small SIC bomber fly by and Anakin went to investigate. He found out that it was Obi-Wan. They greeted each other and decided to fight, for the fun of it. They both needed the practice. Obi-Wan, though, accidentally cut up Anakin. Anakin told Obi-Wan to go get Padmé and bring her back so they could put him together. Obi-Wan immediately got up and ran back for Padmé.

However, when Obi-Wan arrived, Senator Bail Organa was sitting next to Padmé as she was giving birth to twins. Padmé passed away, only to come back, get up and leave with Bail and Obi-Wan. Anakin, who was completely forgotten about, sat waiting for Obi-Wan to return when he heard footsteps behind him. Darth Sidious had come to help him. Sidious picked up Anakin and took him back to Naboo. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan arrived on Tatooine, at the homestead to give Luke away to Owen and Beru, but they were nowhere to be found. So Obi-Wan left Luke on the doorstep. The season ended with Anakin on a platform being lifted up, revealing him as Darth Vader.

Many of the humor in the first season was heavily influenced by the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. This came about as both creators had just watched the film shortly before they started writing the script, which started in the summer of 2007. The creators claimed that they had gotten bored one day while one was at the other’s house and started messing around with five of the director’s action figures. From there, they thought of the idea to write a script for a Star Wars spoof called, The Fanon Menace.
They had worked out that they would make three films, one of each episode in the prequel trilogy, until they found out that YouTube had a 100MB limit. Since the films would be too big to put directly onto YouTube, the director developed the idea to turn it into a series, with three-part seasons. The prequel trilogy would be the first. They also decided that Coruscant would never be featured, taking it from LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game, where Coruscant was never featured in Episode I.
During the write-up for the script for Part II, the creators decided to outsource their series, allowing another friend of theirs to join the cast. This friend would take on the rolls of Count Dooku and Jango Fett. This friend would continue with them through Part III taking on the roll of Bail Organa, Mace Windu, and other minor characters. This sparked more outsourcing that continued during Season 2.
As the scripts for the sequel parts commenced, the director decided to go back to Part I and rewrite parts of it. The rewrites were not major, nor were they important. They were “merely to weed out the inconsistencies”. However he never went back and re-filmed any of Part I, knowing that it still fit the direction he was going. The rewrite was solely in case he remastered the series with digital effects, such as CGI.
Filming[]
Principle filming for the first season lasted from June 29, 2007, to December 22, 2007. The majority of the filming for Part I was done on the director’s desk. However, when the creators expanded to Part II, the locations expanded to the rest of the director’s house. There were rumors of expanding to another location, but the rumors remained just that. Stop-motion animation clips were later used in conjunction with the real-time footage, to give the project a “more professional look”.
Music and sound[]
The basic music used for the first season consisted of the Star Wars movie soundtracks of Episodes I, II, and III. However, for Part II, the creators did expand to other music using a Jimmy Eat World song, “Hear You Me”, for their dedication to a fellow student who had passed away shortly after they started filming. They also used a Relient K song, “Chapped Lips, Chapped Stick, and Thing Like Chemistry”, for the opening crawl to Part II along with Anberlin’s “Foreign Language”.
The music for the season, however, was choppy. The director, Seth Hoover, was not able to allow the songs to flow like he wanted them to due to the limited space to put the music. There was only one bar for both music and audio. The majority of the editing bar was the voice audio, which was recorded on the Seth’s mp3 player and transferred to the computer, and left little room for music.
Release[]
The Fanon Menace Season 1 can be seen on YouTube under the creator's user page, rylukntesh. They managed to air thirty episodes for the first season, completing almost two hours of footage. Each episode contained its own credits and prelude. The first episode aired on August 14, 2007. Production of the first season ended in February 15, 2008. The last episode ended the season on April 15, 2008.
Along with the release of the sixth episode, the two creators added a dedication to one of their fellow students who had passed away in a climbing accident. Both of them were close to her, and agreed instantaneously to add the dedication. Later, the director moved the dedication from the beginning of the sixth episode to the before the main menu, during what is called a first play video, for the DVD release.
DVD release[]
The Fanon Menace Season 1 was released on private DVD between the creators and their friends. It was a disk DVD. The first disk contained the first season on DVD, whereas the second disk contained special features. The special features included the YouTube trailer for Season 1 and for the upcoming Season 2. It also included a behind the scenes documentary interview with the creators of The Fanon Menace. Another bonus mini-series titled, The Fanon Menace: A Day in the Life of a Stormtrooper, as well as a music video they did of a parody of Relient K’s "I’m Lion-O" entitled, "I’m Mace Windu" was also added to the special features.
Demographics[]
Viewers for Season 1 were mainly in mainland United States, extending into southern Canada. There were also viewers all throughout Europe, Britain, and select parts of the Middle East. Fifty-six percent of the viewers in these regions were female, while forty-four percent were male.
After splitting the ages into ranges of roughly ten years, it was discovered that Season 1 had a high viewing age of thirty-five to forty-four. The creators found this different as their intended viewers were teenagers and young adults. They next highest range was forty-five to fifty-four, then thirteen to seventeen, which was their target audience. They had viewers who were in their sixties, as well.
Season 1 tallied over 8,000 views in the nine months it was on air. However, they did not start to gain viewers until mid-October, 2007, when the season was almost eight episodes in. For half the season "Episode 1: Droid Control Ship - Naboo" was the most viewed episode, tallying over 1,000 views. This changed for the second half when "Episode 10: Jango Fett" surpassed it, gaining over 2,000 views. It remained the most viewed episode till the end of the season in April 15, 2008.
