Naaron "Nexu" Keetem, was born on Rori, a planet his family immigrated to in 4 BBY. Naaron was a member of the Keetem family, and cousin to Nulif Keetem, Brutar Keetem's father. Naaron was a highly skilled individual, his Jedi skills were amazing, and many Masters favored the Ithorian. His relative's were also Jedi, giving the Keetem Family a keen sense of the Force.

Naaron was given the nickname Nexu during his Jedi training, his master, a Human male named Jal'arz gave himself the name for his quick attacks and amazing combinations. From that time on, Naaron stuck with the nickname. Naaron was also tasked with numerous missions and wars. The Ithorian Jedi was very successful.

Early Life[]

Naaron was born in a small city near the Rebel Base on Rori to two Ithorian agriculturists. His father soon affiliated his wife and Naaron in the safety of the Rebel Base through a contract, as Imperial's would often attack the Base, leaving Naaron's family in danger. His father also bought a trusty DC-15 rifle, which came in handy when Imperial's would raid their houses. As Naaron grew older, he became angered that the Imperials enslaved and robbed their small community, giving the Ithorian the feeling of wanting to strike back.

Albecus, as seen by Naaron

The Rebel Base would often be able to withstand the Imperial's attacks, but the family's living near by were sometimes killed, and Naaron could hardly stand it. By the time he reached age seven, Naaron's parents decided to move to a safer planet, specifically Albecus.

He and his parents packed a shuttle with their belongings that would soon be headed for Albecus the next morning. However, his father still managed to keep the contract with the Rebellion despite the move, making it easier to survive. Upon arriving on Albecus, his family was named "immigrants" to the planet, and they all settled into a small bungalow near the coast.

Naaron's father also sent him to a secret force sensitive school on the planet, and ensured the Jedi that Naaron will be an excellent student. Naaron was assigned a master, a human named Jal'arz. The wise master did all he could to teach Naaron in the mystic and religious ways of the Jedi, even the many lightsaber forms and techniques. The young Ithorian had never known before that he was force sensitive, or ever even knew Jedi still exsisted. After a month of being on Albecus, Naaron's parents owned a Bofa Plant farm, and made enough credits here and there to support their house. Then, after a full year of training, Naaron finally became an Apprentice, one rank higher than Padawan.

Duel on Dantooine[]

On Dantooine, a relatively close planet to the Yavin IV temple, Jedi Master Urak had called for a important mission. The possessed ex-Jedi Rhy Bendon had discovered a crown, one he called the Helm of Darkness. Expectedly, the crown was supposed to grant eternal power.

Naaron and five other Jedi traveled in Urak's new cruiser, and landed upon the vast planet. Tracking destroyed remnants of ships and bodies, the task force team arrived at a crashed and old CIS Cruiser, seeing Rhy standing atop the cockpit. Naaron activated his lightsaber, and did the others, but Urak demanded they stay here.

After waiting for a time, Naaron and the other Jedi agreed to secretly attack Rhy from the cieling, and hopefully strike him down. Naaron got ready to battle, and shifted his mind to think in his Makashi Form. Naaron stuck his way through the bent radiator's and twisted trap doors, slowly making his way into the meeting room where the two battled.

Jumping from there hiding spot, Naaron attacked Rhy with a swift jump attack, but the skillful ex-Jedi only jumped backward. Regaining his stance, Rhy threw too of his task force members into a pillar, soon bringing it down to crush them to death. Naaron prepared to strike Rhy again, ignoring Urak's requests and pleas to back away. Sure enough, Rhy had easily deflected Naaron's deathblow and latched his hand onto Naaron's hand, which was gripping his lightsaber. Sweeping back his lightsaber in a deadly arc for a decapitation, Rhy shifted his hand position and tightened his grip, preventing any movement. Naaron eventually managed to struggle free and prepare for another block. However, Rhy skillfully turned and drove his lightsaber threw Naaron's stomach, ending his life.
