- "He never expected to live, and I think it reached the point where he didn't want to anymore."
- —Nick Rostu

[edit] Biography
[edit] Jedi Padawan(35 BBY to 19 BBY)
Entis Loim was born on Nar Shaddaa, to bounty hunter Janet Loim, who was aided in the birth by Zasan Fasarn and Jedi Padawan Oné Madierre. She did not identify to them who his father was. As she was already known to be Force-sensitive, Madierre took a midichlorian count and afterwards urged Janet to give her son up. Acknowledging that she was unlikely to be a very good mother, Janet agreed, and Madierre took Entis back to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant with her.
Apprenticed at nine years of age, Entis was thirteen years old when the Clone Wars broke out. Despite his young age he participated in multiple battles, and was nearly killed twice before the end of the war. Near the end of the war his Master was badly wounded, and they were both at a medical station when the clones received Order 66. The medical staff warned the two Jedi, at which point his Master insisted he flee and leave him behind, taking with him instead one of the commanding officers, Major Nick Rostu, who was also Force-sensitive and whom was therefore also in danger from the clones. Very reluctantly, Entis obeyed, leaving his Master to be killed.
[edit] Fugitive(19 BBY to 0 BBY)
Though he successfully persuaded Rostu of the danger and got them away from the camp and off the planet, when he felt his Master's death in the Force Entis went to pieces emotionally. Rostu supported him and kept him safe, and the two of them remained together, traveling from planet to planet. Never happy staying in one place, and not wanting to hide, Entis often attempted suicidal attacks on Imperial forces, and was stopped only by Rostu.
Eventually they pledged their support to Mon Mothma, but as freelance members of her movement, and in the end, Entis very rarely worked with the official rebellion. They did meet with many of its members, who would observe later Entis' recklessness and his seeming wish to be killed. If he did indeed wish this, his wish was granted early in 0 BBY, when he gave his life for the sake of a group of civilians.
