The Eloquian Civil War began around the year 414,000 BBY, when the three main nations of Eloque began to separate from each other. They lost sense of peace, and thought of war. Little hope was left, and most people thought that the end of their world would soon come. Finally, after all hope was lost, war was declared.
At first, the nation of Gusevy was not in the conflict. The other two nations had been fighting for land, power, and honor. They also thought that they had little in common, and finally, after Gusevy's land became a battlefield for the other nations, Gusevy was pulled into the conflict on the side of no one. Both of the enemies had attacked them within one week of each other.
The nation of Gusevy was by far the most powerful, and largest nation. It was a democracy, as well. The capital of Gusevy, Hibaddet City, was the economic center of the entire planet, and the other two nations got many minerals and resources from the nation.
Gusevy's route to victoryEdit
Gusevy had several main plans. The first was to mainly use bombers, fighter planes, and seafaring vessels. They would fight their way through, bombing several cities of both enemies, and then the warships would come in and bombard the coastal cities. Then planes would come in and get rid of the surviving troops and tanks.
The second plan was to develop some sort of weapon. The weapon would be launched into space by use of a large rocket, and then a glider rocket would fly it back into the upper atmosphere. It would be packed with rocket fuel, radioactive elements, nuclear waste, nuclear materials, and several different kinds of chemicals. When the bomb was dropped, its speed would increase dramatically. When it was exactly ten miles above its target, it would begin emitting radioactive fumes, spreading radiation throughout the area. Finally, it would hit its target, creating massive radiation and a huge nuclear cloud. This idea was discouraged, for it was so dangerous and violent.
The third main plan was to develop a new kind of weapon. It would be a laser weapon, although it would also fire a small sized bullet beforehand. The bullet would rip through the body, and then the laser would follow, ripping through the body but causing even more damage, in the same place that the bullet hit. This idea was discarded due to lack of funding.
They finally decided on using the simple plan; plan 1.
Gusevy's forces pushed onward, gaining territory quickly. Their superior army moved forward. Their bombers cleared paths for them. It was a perfect military plan.
There was one problem though, and that was that the country of Feyr had been developing a weapon for about two years that was more powerful than any handheld weapon devised before. The statistics showed that 1 out of 10 of these weapons would explode when the trigger was pulled, but they were still deadly.
Devised like a grenade launcher, it was loaded with high power nuclear explosives. These explosives had an accuracy of 75% from one mile away. Although even bulkier and heavier than a rocket launcher, it was over ten times as powerful.
Gusevy decided it was time for even more action. They sent 25,000 troops to raid and destroy the Feyr nation's prototype testing facility, where the weapon was being created for the first time.
This was one of the turning points of the war. In the small city of Resep, where the facilities were located, a huge battle commenced. Led by fighter planes and tanks, Gusevy soldiers marched onward, fighting the troops guarding the facilities. Gusevy's forces outmatched the opponent two to one. In the end, four prototypes were stolen, twenty-one prototypes were destroyed, and the entire building was set ablaze. Gusevy lost around 11,000 troops.
Gusevy also recovered many schematics for more future weapons and machines. They used these against both of the other nations during the war.
The end of the warEdit
Feyr was first to surrender. Their Viceroy had been murdered by one of their own people. Since they had surrendered, the nation of Gusevy forced them to switch their ways. They made them completely change their governmental system to a democracy, just like theirs. This led to better relations with the Feyr nation, although there were still rebels inside of the country that planned future attacks on Gusevy and their own capital.
The Hetrais nation surrendered right after the Second Battle of Yestarf, the Hetrais capital. Once Gusevy captured the capital, and they had already won countless other battles, Dictator Hetrais and the nation named after him knew it was all over. Their dictatorship fell, and they were also forced to change their government. Some of the nation became part of Gusevy, as well. Gusevy troops stayed in each country for twenty more years, then withdrew.
The end of this war marked peaceful times until the formation of the Eloquian Alliance.
