DeMoin Metal was a genre of music unique to the planet DeMoin. A heavier, darker version of Heavy Metal; DeMoin Metal was practised, with perfection, by DeMoin-based nine-piece SlipKnoT.
With the release of the second album, Mortis approaching, SlipKnoT later developed DeMoin Metal further by increasing its "darkness", and many considered this new genre, dubbed DeMoin black Metal to be disturbing and inciting criminal atrocities.
