Darth Nemesis, real name Kal Toul, was an infamous Sith Lord born during the Great Galactic War and active during the Cold War that followed, first as a spy, assassin, saboteur and guerrilla fighter, then when war broke out, a frontline warrior whose skill and power was on par with if not greater than the mightiest Sith of his age.

Early life[]
Kal was sold into slavery the minute he was born by his Sith/slave parents to avoid a scandal in the upper echelons of Imperial society. From the minute he could walk the boy was trained how to fight, and within a few months he could beat gladiators five times his size with his instinctual and potent connection to the Force. By age seven the boy was a sensation known the empire over for his incredible feats of skill and power, like tearing a Rancor's arm off with just a single vibrosword, or jumping fifty feet in the air. Eventually the legend he created was heard by an infamous Sith Lord named Darth Belias. Darth Belias instantly recognized the descriptions of Kal's feats to be Force-powers, and after pitting him against a massive beast to test his skill, took Kal as his apprentice. Kal's first test was to find and kill his parents. This he did easily, procuring The Sacrifice needed to become a Sith Apprentice under Belias.
For ten years Kal trained under Belias, becoming a powerful user of the force, and master of all the forms of Lightsaber combat, going so far as to invent his own moves and learn the skills needed to build lightsabers of every kind as oen of his first lessons. Kal was noted by his master as an 'aggressive but focused mind, full of rage and hate towards his enemies'.

By the time Kal had completed his training, the Treaty of Coruscant had already been signed, and the war was over. Kal, furious, was soothed by an offer made to him by his master: a covert war against the Republic, where there could be no witnesses, and no restraints, if he was to succeed. Kal eagerly accepted, and became an Imperial guerrilla, striking the Republic again and again, his identity and allegiance hidden underneath prototype Sith stalker armor and the codename 'Nemesis'.
Eventually, Kal was convinced by his associate Inquisitor Null that Belias had outlived his usefulness. Indeed, though the Sith master had once fought with Revan and his Sith Remnant three centuries before, and had been an unbeatable monster in combat during the entire Great Galactic War, the old Devaronian was falling into discrepancy, and having taught Kal everything he knew and allowed hi mto be privy to the master's darkest secrets, the Lord had no more use to anyone. Kal slew his master in a ground-shattering duel that tore apart half of Kaas City, earning him the right to the ancient title of Darth.
