Darth Haagen, also known as the Lord of Destruction, was a Dark Lord of the Sith created in 3,959 BBY by Darth Nihilus when the Sith Lord manipulated the midi-chlorians, found in a living being’s blood. He was trained on Nihilus' flagship, the Ravager, for many years, intending to be a continuation of the Dark Lord's legacy.

Darth Haagen is named after Häagen-Dazs, an American brand of ice cream.
The Dark Lord is portrayed by Starkiller, Darth Vader's secret apprentice, and digitally manipulated to have grey skin and black hair.
The concept for Haagen was created by Star Wars Fanon author Andrew Barton on September 4, 2008. His idea for him changed for having him from having him as a Dark Jedi named Haagen-Dazs, to the Unknown Darth, to the second Darth Nihilus, and finally to the apprentice of Darth Nihilus who survived the Jedi Exile's Purge of the Sith, not to be confused with the Unknown Darth.
On October 1, 2008, Barton announced that he would be penning a trilogy for the Sith Lord.
