Ah, now here is a fine side-arm for any officer! This is the DL-18 blaster pistol, rugged, reliable, hard-hitting, easily modifiable, light, sleek and, most important of all, cheap, these attributes have made it a favourite amongst bounty hunters and criminals alike, but don't let that fact put you off, this blaster is highly versatile, able to be used for multiple scenarios. This blaster can be yours for as little as 500 credits! I understand that few of you will be carrying 500 credits in your pocket, so if you wish to order now, I am open to the "buy now, pay later" scheme.

The DL-18 Blaster Pistol was a Blaster pistol produced by BlasTech Industries that was prevelant across the galaxy during the closing decades of the Galactic Republic, the blaster was known for being versatile, easy to modify, light and cheap, at the relatively cheap price of AurebeshSans-Serif credit500 the DL-18 was considered to be practically disposable, this made the pistol popular amongst bounty hunters and criminals.

The Confederate States of Earth military in particular liked the blaster, and placed large orders with weapons dealers in order to arm their officers with, some weapons traders had special rates in which they would give a discount to Confederate bulk purchases, the pistols were purchased either from BlasTech directly, or from other weapons dealers. Impressed with the pistol, the DL-18 became one of the standard Confederate side-arms, seen in use with a wide variety of ranks, from a captain in charge of a platoon, to Field Marshal Alexander Norman himself, the veteran commander of the Confederate First Army, to Grand Admiral TX-29, commander of the Confederate States of Earth Navy. Although the SE-14 blaster pistol was more commonly seen.

Some Confederate weapons factories even modified batches of DL-18s to make them compatible with detachable shoulder-stocks, DL-18s were sometimes seen in combat with shoulder-stocks to make them more accurate, stocked DL-18s even saw action as makeshift carbines in some cases, a variant of the stocked DL-18 was the DL-18 Blaster Carbine, this variant had a lengthened barrel with a handguard attached, and were often used by pilots and tankers due to their relatively small size.

The DL-18 was noted for its light trigger pull, which meant that the DL-18 could fire as fast as the user could pull the trigger, and with practice a user could fire a DL-18 with a frightening rate of fire, it was known for experienced DL-18 users to be able to fire faster than some blaster rifles.
