The Cordon Empire was the successor to the lesser-known Cordon Liberation Front. Although the Cordon Empire was not lead by Neregski Cordon like the Cordon Liberation Front, it was named so in honor of him by his old second-in-command, the Iridonian Xenon Killari. Killari, with his new Empire and his massive fleet of starfighters and thousands of soldiers, embarked on a galactic campaign to annihilate the New Republic. Originally wanting to be a part of the Imperial Remnant, later on by 10 ABY they expressed to demolish all opposing factions and become the supreme force in the galaxy, conquering over even the Jedi. But to kill and take over Jedi, they had to have force-sensitive beings on their side. Therefore, in an attempt to seek force beings, they met with the Talortai Urai Fen, ex-second in command of the supposedly once all-power pirate gang, the Zann Consortium. Making him his second-in-command and commander of all ground troops, he helped him conquer the galaxy, and nearly destroy both the Imperial Remnant and the New Republic.
After 12 ferocious and terrifying years of combat, the Cordon Empire controlled over 4.7 million droids and counting, over 1,000 heavily modified Clone Wars and otherwise warships, over nearly a thousand star systems, and had nearly destroyed the New Republic.
