Cor Tal, also known as #8, was the lead singer for DeMoin Metal band SlipKnoT and a veteran of the Confederation-Galactic Alliance War.
A founding member of SlipKnoT, Cor Tal was the most well known of the band's members.

In 43 ABY Cor Tal was released from military service after being diagnosed with a severe mental disorder in the wake of the Confederation-Galactic Alliance War.
Cor Tal made his way to a military-health clinic on DeMoin where he was subjugated to a series of excruciatingly painful operations and therapy sessions in which the doctors attempted to cure him of his disease. After four years of torture Cor Tal snapped, killing the doctors and his guard. Fleeing the medical facility, Cor Tal found himself in a refugee camp on the far side of DeMoin. There he met up with his future band-mate, JoJordis.
JoJordis, also a veteran of the Confederation-Galactic Alliance War, instantly took to Cor Tal, and the two soon found solace in performing music for one-another. They were soon joined by another veteran, Shan Chran and the three formed their own band. SlipKnoT was born. Cor Tal continued to be lead singer for SlipKnoT until 69 ABY, when the band disbanded.
Cor Tal died in 74 ABY from complications in surgery.
