A consigliere was a position in either the Galactic Mafia and Human Mafia who acted as an adviser or counselor to a Don, with the additional responsibility of representing the Don in important meetings both within the Don's crime family and with other crime families. A crime family normally had only one consigliere at a time.^[1][2]
