The Confederacy of the Tingel Arm was a galactic body formed by Darth Subdren. It was the third standing galactic body. The Confederacy was formed from the Sith Network and spanned a sizable portion of the galaxy.
After Subdren left the known galaxy for good, he placed his most trusted Sith comrades to rule the Confederacy. Soon thereafter, the Confederacy began to conquer other regions, thus drawing it into the Great Succession War with the New Republic and the Galactic Alliance. The war was ultimately a stalemate, so both sides were allowed to keep its independence under the Treaty of Tingel.
