CC-8157, nicknamed Shark, was the Clone bodyguard of Brenn Tantor and head of Senate Security from 8 ABY to 36 ABY.
Biography[]
Birth[]
Like the other clones grown for the Grand Army of the New Republic, Shark was born when he reached 17 standard years from a New Spaarti Cloning Cylinder on Kamino. His growth acceleration was then canceled so he would age normally.
Induction to Senate Security[]
Shark was promoted when Brenn Tantor was viewing the new ARC Troopers. When watched, Shark was a cut above every soldier in the army. The Supreme Chancellor promoted him to his bodyguard and head of Senate Security.
Assassination of Brenn Tantor[]
In 30 ABY, Shark was "convinced" to spy on Brenn Tantor. Then, when Soy Fac entered the Chancellor's Office, Shark switched off the security mechanisms in a clever algorithm that meant that no-one said anything. It was timed with a conveniently arranged power cut, so no-one could break the locks that Soy Fac had placed on the doors.
Raid on the Jedi Temple[]
Like all other clones, Shark was called upon to execute the Jedi in the Temple. However, he was killed by a well aimed shot by a New Republic sniper.
Equipment[]
Like every trooper after 9 ABY, Shark wore Phase II clone trooper armor. being an AGRC Trooper, Shark also got to choose his own weapon. Because of his being a Clone Trooper, when on parade, it was compulsory to have a DC-15A blaster rifle. However, for his main weapon, Shark chose the DC-5 blaster.
