Bry Veldiun was a Human male from Celen who became a pilot and a resistance fighter against the Galactic Empire. He later flew an R-41 Starchaser in the service of the Alliance to Restore the Republic.
Biography[]
He was born on Celen in 27 BBY, the son of a family of nerf herders. Attending a local flight school and then leased a transport and hauled nerfs and banthas and farm equipment around the galaxy. In 4 BBY he was hired to bring Corla Metonae to Blitochiq. However, when they arrived on the planet, they were arrested and Veldiun's ship was confiscated. They were rescued by members of the Blitochiq Resistance and, while Metonae was smuggled offworld, Veldiun was persuaded to join the resistance. Later, in 3 BBY he was captured again but he was rescued by Kota's Militia and he left the planet with them, running around the galaxy and fighting with Rahm Kota. After the formation of the Rebel Alliance, it was decided that Veldiun's piloting experience meant he would need to be placed in the Alliance Starfighter Corps. Given control of an R-41 Starchaser, he fought in several battles against the Empire, including the Battle of Kamino. After that battle he was promoted to captain. In 0 BBY he flew a mission in the Vysip Triangle to harass an Imperial observation fleet. He died defending Rebel Group MT50 during the Kraa Butha Supply Run a few days later.
