Brandon Rhea's Alternative Star Wars Saga
The Star Wars wiki of fan invention.
Brandon Rhea's Alternative Star Wars Saga, or simply the "Alternative Saga", is an epic saga of science fiction novels spanning over 100,000 years that serves as a reimagining of the Star Wars Saga. They are written by Brandon Rhea, based upon the Star Wars Saga created by George Lucas. The Alternative Saga story employs archetypal motifs both common and uncommon to both science fiction and classical mythology, going much more in depth with the religious aspect of the Force, known in the Alternative Saga as the "Force of Others".

On TheForce.Net in 2004, a thread titled Episode IV Trailer...as if it were the fourth movie released... was created in the Classic Trilogy board of the Jedi Council Forums by Kaydon_Sentry, who is also the editor of a popular film version of the award-winning Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic video game. As the title of the thread suggests, it was about fan trailers he created that acted as if Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace was the first Star Wars film released in theaters. The trailers were met with rave reviews and received countless hits and complimentary posts in the thread.
Some users began discussing what spoilers would have looked like if the Prequel Trilogy was made first starting in 1999, meaning that Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope would have been released in May 2008. Other users then began putting up their own versions of scripts for trailers that could be made in the same light. One user named Michael Jones, who posted under the username darthevilbob, made his own trailer in the same light for Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back. Shortly thereafter, Jones suggested making a site that would act in this very same light.
Jones described the possible site as something like SuperShadow.Com and “pretend to have the latest scoops and stuff”, though there would be no deception involved like with SuperShadow as there would be disclaimers warning that the site was not to be taken seriously. Instead, it was meant to merely show what spoilers for the “Sequel Trilogy” made up of Episode IV, Episode V and Episode VI would look like if the prequel films were made first as the “Original Trilogy”. It was suggested by numerous members that the site be called “sequeltrilogy.net” or “sequeltrilogy.com”. Shortly thereafter, Jones created Sequel-Trilogy.Net.
