The Bombing of Eriadu was a terrorist attack that occurred around 69 ABY on the planet Eriadu.

Looking for a better way to spread on show their "message", the Imperial Terrorist Alliance hijacked a Corellian YT-3080, and packed it with hypermatter explosives. They also stole 19 starbombers, and hired a few dozen suicide bombers. They sent them off toward Eriadu.

[edit] The Bombing

The first group to attack was the suicide bombers, who jumped out of their freighter toward various buildings, causing major devastation. The freighter came on next, annihilating a massive section of Eriadu's planetwide city, and killing over 29 million. The starbombers bombed the city most of the rest of the day.

Because of this bombing, Eriadu lost the title of "Coruscant of the Outer Rim" to the planet Scafa IX.
