Decide what to do with the wordmark

The recent page header updates mean we should be taking another look at our wordmark.

Our wordmark, in case you have never seen it before.

I think there are two issues:

the dark grey of "FANON" looks bad on the blue header
the sitename to the right of the wordmark unnecessarily repeats the wordmark.

I think we could either:

change wordmark colors to fit with the header
change the header background color to something else.

And either:

get rid of text in the wordmark to make it graphic-only and keep the sitename text next to it
keep the wordmark as is with graphic+text and replace the sitename with some fancy tagline.

What do you think? Discuss!

It is Wikia.css and it worked for me once I cleared my cache.

Oh really? I've "action=purge"d twice and am still seeing black. I'm glad it's working though.

You're using Mac, right? Try the Shift key and click the Reload toolbar button (assuming Safari of course).

Yes, afaik the old masthead is still free to customize, unlike the new page header and the global nav/footer.

action=purge only triggers some updates for the current article, and does not affect CSS/JS - browser cache needs to be purged in order to make those update.
