I'm incredibly excited to unveil the new cover for Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One! This cover was created by none other than Solus.

Before we scroll down to the cover, though, let me preface it. I originally started writing The Chosen One way back in 2007 because I liked the idea of writing a desert epic. Through numerous drafts and revisions of the story, I never quite got there. The book was way too big to do it justice; it had three parts, with part one set on Tatooine, part two set on Coruscant, and part three set on Ondos (my version of Naboo, which I also once called Utapau in past drafts). Eventually, I chose to split that one big book into three better books. The Chosen One is a much better version of what was once part one.

February 27, 2013.

February has only twenty-eight days each year, and I must admit February has brought me little luck. I'm already looking forward to April seeing how I'll be taking a trip down to Roswell, New Mexico on the first week of April.

Meanwhile, I have been getting up some ideas and details for my next book, "The Rise of Dark Empress" with a surprising twist, something no one will see coming.

I have already confirmed the release date some what, late April or May of 2013 and the title still stands, "The Rise of Dark Empress".

So I'm looking forward to seeing this book up and running.

.]] Another bit of TCO-related information is the replacement of the live action character images with CGI ones, such as the one of Michael Lars on the right. I recently went through and deleted most of the images I've ever uploaded to Star Wars Fanon, mainly due to the fact that I want to be using images that I can reasonably assert fair use on and/or that are official Star Wars images. Therefore, I enlisted the help of my friend Adena from TheStarWarsRP.Com to create new images for the characters. The next one that will be put up will be of Sara Jade.

Earlier tonight, on IRC, there was a discussion with MPK and Karohalva about part of the backstory of Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One. This involves the thousand years prior to TCO, and shows what happened during that time. It's different from the canonical era of 1,000 years before The Phantom Menace, so it shows the road to the reboot so to speak.

Since I haven't released any TCO chapters in the last few months (I got hit with serious writers block and was choking hard on the fifth chapter, but that was resolved recently), I wanted to release this backstory. Rec was born on tattooine, he was the 4th and youngest child of a couple sucessful farmer's. For his first three and a half years his life was normal untill he started getting nightmare's of his family getting killed. Rec told his parent's who assured him that nothing like that will happen.

The nightmare's continued for a couple more weeks but this time everyone in the house heard crashing coming from his room, when they looked in they saw all his toy's and other stuff fly across the room. A few years back I started working on a novel that would head off a series about an alternate story-line in the Star Wars universe. I got about fifty pages into my story, which followed canon up to the Showdown on Coruscant where I had Anakin fail at engaging Windu in his attempt to save Sidious and Sidious perishing at the hands of Windu, but it was not to be. Hey all! Quick update on the next content release for Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One. Some of you may know that there is a hurricane on the east coast next week, and it's supposed to hit the northeast region as one of the most powerful storms in a long time.

Since a hurricane last year knocked out power in most of New Jersey for days, I'm going to preemptive postpone my next content release, just in case this will happen.

Rather than October 31, the content release will be pushed back one week, to November 7th. It may very well happen before that, since I don't know what the weather will bring, but I plan to be working on the next release up until the day of the release so I can't guarantee I'll be able to release on Wednesday.

I've been busy with the real world and with the writing and publishing of a alternative history Civil War book. But, that didn't totally kill my Star Wars writing. Last I wrote Heirs of an Empire was finishing up. Well, it got done and I worked hard on the second book. The one was entitled "The Courtship of Peace". This is where the story ended up grinding to a halt.

As for my Alternative Star Wars Saga, I've done some minor work on it, but nothing to serious. I'm in Chapter 6 as of right now.

Now, all my fanfiction has been pushed to the side by real life. Star Wars, Star Trek, Babylon 5, so it's not just Star Wars. But, I am rejumping on the fan fiction wagon pretty hard so I should have more Star Wars stuff done soon.

For whatever reason, I feel compelled to give another update on Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One. It's probably because of the skepticism that I would imagine is out there that I'll actually release something on (or before) September 30th—which I will! It's justifiable skepticism, but this is my way of showing that things are actually happening.

Although there's some minor uncertainty due to some now-deleted pages, a quick check of my contributions page reveals that Force Exile I: Fugitive marked its start on this wiki on 24 May 2007. I wanted to start a discussion about the newest craze in Star Wars fandom, Bioware's MMO '. If you haven't played it yet and you're thinking about it, I'd definitely recommend it. I haven't gotten all that far yet since I haven't had the time to play in a few weeks, but it's definitely a good game with surprisingly good stories for the different classes.
