I'm VRGuardian, Star Wars addict. My favourite part about Star Wars is the space battles, followed by the Jedi.
- My favourite Jedi?:
AnakObi-Wan-Kenobi (He be so awesome!)
- My favourite Sith?: General Greivous (No question, wielding 4 sabers is awesome, and yes, I know he isn't a true Sith, but he's still great!)
- My favourite planet?: Coruscant (I love London, and I would love Coruscant!)
- My favourite spaceship?: Eclipse-Class Star Dreadnaught (It's like a mini Death Star!)
- My favourite character (Non-Jedi): Admiral Ackbar (IZH A TWAP!)
So, let's begin!
I've started work on something I've called the Galactic Pirate Insurrection. This happened in 8-3BBY, and was a Pirate attack on Imperial strongholds, followed by a general rebellion. I'…Read more >

I'm incredibly excited to unveil the new cover for Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One! This cover was created by none other than Solus.
Before we scroll down to the cover, though, let me preface it. I originally started writing The Chosen One way back in 2007 because I liked the idea of writing a desert epic. Through numerous drafts and revisions of the story, I never quite got there. The book was way too big to do it justice; it had three parts, with part one set on Tatooine, part two set on Coruscant, and part three set on Ondos (my version of Naboo, which I also once called Utapau in past drafts). Eventually, I chose to split that one big book into three better books. The Chosen One is a much better version of what was once part one.
Now th…Read more >

Hello, and welcome to the party. You won't find 13 dwarves and a wandering wizard (or a hobbit) here, but there's plenty of other things in store, so come in, come in.
The weekend of 25 May, I will release the following:
- The last seven segments of Force Exile VI: Prodigal
- Three new EGTFE entries:
- Kavlis Burke
- Jasika Kraen Knrr
- Bryndar Knrr
- Also, a new entry for the Yanibar Tales. This short story is called Boundaries, and it's a drama set in 27 ABY. I don't want to give away too much of the premise, but if you read and enjoyed Through Her Eyes, you'll probably appreciate this one.
Now, some smart-aleck out there might point out that I was supposed to be done with the Yanibar Tales. It's true. I was. I thought I was done with the stories. HOWEVER, while wr…Read more >
February 27, 2013.
February has only twenty-eight days each year, and I must admit February has brought me little luck. I'm already looking forward to April seeing how I'll be taking a trip down to Roswell, New Mexico on the first week of April.
Meanwhile, I have been getting up some ideas and details for my next book, "The Rise of Dark Empress" with a surprising twist, something no one will see coming.
I have already confirmed the release date some what, late April or May of 2013 and the title still stands, "The Rise of Dark Empress".
So I'm looking forward to seeing this book up and running.
So until then, keep an eye out for it ;)Read more >

As a quick note, the next content release for that will be better than the previous one.
.]] Another bit of TCO-related information is the replacement of the live action character images with CGI ones, such as the one of Michael Lars on the right. I recently went through and deleted most of the images I've ever uploaded to Star Wars Fanon, mainly due to the fact that I want to be using images that I can reasonably assert fair use on and/or that are official Star Wars images. Therefore, I enlisted the help of my friend Adena from TheStarWarsRP.Com to create new images for the characters. The next one that will be put up will be of Sara Jade.
If any of this information changes, I'll update in the comments section. I don't anticipate it …Read more >
Earlier tonight, on IRC, there was a discussion with MPK and Karohalva about part of the backstory of Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One. This involves the thousand years prior to TCO, and shows what happened during that time. It's different from the canonical era of 1,000 years before The Phantom Menace, so it shows the road to the reboot so to speak.
Since I haven't released any TCO chapters in the last few months (I got hit with serious writers block and was choking hard on the fifth chapter, but that was resolved recently), I wanted to release this backstory. This is part of the series' "bible," which is what writers of series often used to keep track of story elements, character traits, etc.
I'm only releasing the backstory part, thoug…Read more >

Educational aside, did you know that "festa" is actually a word meaning "a feast, festival, or holiday." ()? Me neither, but it fits!
The reason this blog has laid dormant for so long is that I was simply preoccupied with a number of things that weren't really newsworthy. It can be argued that they still aren't. However, I'll talk about some of them anyway and deal with the snarky comments below.
For one, I re-released Smuggler and updated a few more of those blasted EGTFE entries at the end of 2012. I'd like to thank my betareader and Brandon Rhea for their help with improving the second Force Exile novel, and if you haven't read it yet, then you have no idea about some of …Read more >

A few years back I started working on a novel that would head off a series about an alternate story-line in the Star Wars universe. I got about fifty pages into my story, which followed canon up to the Showdown on Coruscant where I had Anakin fail at engaging Windu in his attempt to save Sidious and Sidious perishing at the hands of Windu, but it was not to be. I got distracted and moved on.

Hey all! Quick update on the next content release for Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One. Some of you may know that there is a hurricane on the east coast next week, and it's supposed to hit the northeast region as one of the most powerful storms in a long time.
Since a hurricane last year knocked out power in most of New Jersey for days, I'm going to preemptive postpone my next content release, just in case this will happen.
Rather than October 31, the content release will be pushed back one week, to November 7th. It may very well happen before that, since I don't know what the weather will bring, but I plan to be working on the next release up until the day of the release so I can't guarantee I'll be able to release on Wednesday.

I've been busy with the real world and with the writing and publishing of a alternative history Civil War book. But, that didn't totally kill my Star Wars writing. Last I wrote Heirs of an Empire was finishing up. Well, it got done and I worked hard on the second book. The one was entitled "The Courtship of Peace". This is where the story ended up grinding to a halt.
As for my Alternative Star Wars Saga, I've done some minor work on it, but nothing to serious. I'm in Chapter 6 as of right now.
Now, all my fanfiction has been pushed to the side by real life. Star Wars, Star Trek, Babylon 5, so it's not just Star Wars. But, I am rejumping on the fan fiction wagon pretty hard so I should have more Star Wars stuff done soon.

For whatever reason, I feel compelled to give another update on Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One. I gave most of my story-related updates already, so for now I figured I'd just give you some stats. This is for you if you're interested, but is also my way of tracking my progress with the story in a way that's public—which gives me some degree of self-accountability.

Those of you who read the first two drafts of Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One will remember how the novel began. I’ll give a brief rundown of those who don’t.
In the midst of a legal dispute between the Trade Federation and a peaceful backwater world, a dispute that spiraled into a planetary blockade, two Jedi are dispatched by the Supreme Chancellor to resolve the dispute. The leaders of the Federation, being manipulated by a Sith Lord, attempt to kill the Jedi, forcing them to flee to the surface of the planet—just as the Federation invasion is beginning. The new goal of the Jedi is to find and rescue the planet’s queen. Along the way they encounter a Gungan by the name of Binks who takes them to his underwater city, where he was bani…

This month, either on or before September 30th, I will be releasing the first four chapters of Star Wars: Episode I - The Chosen One, my reboot of the Star Wars Saga. I released a list of characters in the novel last year, and I wanted to take some time to give you an idea of who you will be meeting in the novel’s first four chapters when they are released.
These are only some of the major characters, as there will be other characters in these chapters. Some will have prominent roles throughout the novel, but you don’t see much of them in these first few chapters. Others I’m just keeping under wraps for now.

It features characters from the Jedi Apprentice and Jedi Quest book series for young readers.

So, with Serinii out of the way, Skitch continues on with her escape and travels into a cantina, only to meet a Mandalorian with a ship, money, food, and hope for a new life.
‘Ser would have loved this.’ I mused as I ran off of the landing platform. Suddenly, my boot slipped, and I fell on the sand of this new planet, my outfit jingling from the touch of metal to earth. I stood up, cautiously. This was not the outfit that I needed to be wearing on a slime-digger planet like this.
I brushed the sand off of my silver bottom piece. Immediately, I tried to explore my o…

It was a dark, bleak day on Byss the day that I met my best friend.
It happened on accident, really. I was sitting down, trying to sleep, when the door to my cell opened. S’cyck had put me there because I was causing a disturbance when I was in with the rest of the slaves. A disturbance, as S’cyck had said, was evidently telling stories to the young ones that were having nightmares.

Need ideas for my next major villain, he will be a Dark Lord of the Sith, I want to utilise an already existing character for the role and have had a few thoughts:
- Possibly a rivalry with Soontir/Jagged Fel
- Maybe a Clone wars era Dark Jedi?
- A link with Roganda or Irek Ismaren, as he is Irek's successor as Dark Lord and is secretly controlling Irek's widow Ederlathh Pallipides (Palpatine's niece), who is now the Empress of the Ismaren Empire.

- This blog post contains spoilers for Fate of the Jedi. Lots of them.
