The Battle of The First was a conflict that occurred during the Great Jedi Purge.
During the Great Jedi Purge, the Galactic Empire found itself in desperate need of resources. Seeing the economy Ergy the Hutt gained on his energy facility on The First in the Derlan system, the Empire sent a platoon there to capture the facility. As soon as they landed, they were attacked by some mercenaries, but not a single Imperial stormtrooper fell before all the mercenaries were dead. More mercenaries had hid themselves in the facility, hoping the Imperials would not found them. However, using thermal detonators, the stormtrooper easily killed the remaining mercenaries. During the skirmish, Ergy the Hutt tried to escape in his ship, but was shot down by some starfighters.
