The Battle of Eos was a the first minor battle of the War and the first of Operation: Crossroads.
After the capture of Coruscant, Mandalore ordered for an assault on the Outer Rim Territories, both in and out of the Republic's jurisdiction. Bage Nylos was put in charge of it, and he decided to gain more resources before striking the strategically important worlds. Eos was his first choice.
Nylos decided to not lead the direct invasion of the planet, to whom he put the responsibilities off the invasion to Rikenn Tarbann. The battle was perfect with no flaws or accidents. Bage only gave 10,000 troops so he could reserve the rest for more essential battles.
Rikenn landed on the volcanic planet quickly with no opposition. Mandalorian troops immediately overwhelmed the mining faction in control of the planet and its resources. Rikenn commanded several regiments and marched onto a large droid factory where the enemy received its soldiers. The factory was declared Mandalorian territory and the planet was subsequently taken.
