The forces of Zsinj's fleet are amassing at Corsin, most likely preparing for a strike into Imperial territory, Intelligence says. We must act quickly."
"Understood, admiral. Wipe them out. All of them.
—Admiral Uther Kermen and Emperor Ken Palpatine
The Battle of Corsin was a major battle between the forces off the loyalist Galactic Empire and those loyal to Warlord Zsinj.
Prelude[]
Having been defeated by the Imperial loyalists at Bogden earlier, Warlord Zsinj began to prepare for a retaliatory strike into Imperial space. By his orders, but not under his direct command, a fleet amassed at the world of Corsin. Spies of Imperial Intelligence quickly learned of it and warned the Coruscant Imperial government. Admiral Uther Kermen, who commanded Imperial forces in their victory at Bogden, led his fleet to ambush Zsinj's forces.
The battle[]
Admiral Kermen's fleet, consisting of four Imperial II-class Star Destroyers (the Belligerent, Tyrant, Avatar, and Magic Dragon) and TIE fighters of various types, neared Corsin as Zsinj's armada amassed there. However, the warlord himself was not present. The Imperal fleet sprung its trap, attacking the unsuspecting Zsinj ships. The battle that ensued resulted in the destruction of several of Zsinj's Star Destroyers, and many fighters, with minimal losses for the Empire. The battle was highly successful.
Aftermath[]
The successful battle delighted the Imperial senior officers and government officials on Imperial Center. However, Zsinj anticipated an Imperial attack, and attempted a raid with his personal vessels.
