Commodore Barrel was a naval officer who sided with Emperor Luthor Elyurius and his Imperial Knights during the Purge. When the emperor was killed and the empire fell to Darth Aevum's control, Barrel accompanied Knight-Commander Iona Peller into exile. He worked as a commodore for the Imperial Knights' fleet. After Peller was killed, Barrel aided Bellatrix La Rouge and Ayumi Pallopides in hiding the order's fleet. After Rouge's death, Barrel assumed command of the Excalibur, where he was eventually killed during Operation Twilight.
