Balor Giderra was a Devaronian informer who lived on Coruscant during the Galactic Republic.

By 45 BBY, Giderra had somehow eliminated his some of his opponents in the information trade. Around this time he was reuinited with Jali Dawler following his release from prison. He later informed Dawler's girlfriend, Tira Sengel of this and apparently took some sort of commission from her as not long after saving Dawler when a bomb was planted in his apartment, later informting him of the dangers in talking to the Twi'lek Nami Kotour And despite any lack of loyalty he had, it was Giderra who informed Coruscant Security Force that Dawler was a prisoner in The Seventh Star.

Making his living as a paid informer on Coruscant, Giderra was known to sell information to both sides of the law and could conveniently change his story if the right amount of money was given to him. Such was the hazard of getting information from him—one had to verify it from another source.

Giderra had more loyalty than the average Devaronian, saving the life of Jali Dawler quite a number of times. He had an overly friendly matter, and lisped very badly which was sort of a standing joke in the circles he worked.
