Instead of destroying it, Separatists decided to organize a boarding party. A group of four HMP droid gunships, later followed by two Sheathipede-class shuttles, entered the main hangar of the Lupus. After bombing some V-19 Torrent, the gunships deployed squads of super battle droids that start firing against clone troopers. Wolfpacks led the Republic defense, while two AT-TEs believed deactivated
by Separatists shot down the last two HMPs. Another gunship counterattacked after leaving its droids on the floor and destroyed both the walkers, ending in the same way.
When Jedi General Plo Koon arrived, he coordinated an attack against the last HMP together with Wolfpacks, and then contributed in disabling all remaining super battle droids. Two Separatist shuttles landed and released B1 battle droids and BX-series droid commandos, which took Wolffe and his men occupied.
A Sith apprentice, CSA-068, disembarked after the machines and after killing various clones dueled with Plo Koon. When the Jedi defeated the Sith, a new one, CSA-070, arrived and the apprentices fought together against Plo. When Wolfpack eliminated the droid commandos menacing the Jedi, they intervened in his favor.
Plo Koon overwhelmed the apprentices and obliged them to surrender, but two new HMP gunships arrived and aimed at the General and the few remaining clone troopers. The situation was reversed and the Jedi and his elite squad was taken to CPRO-103.[4]
