Ani Kenobi Solo was the oldest son of Nathaniel Kenobi Solo and Jaina Kenobi Solo, who named him after their deceased brother Anakin Solo.

He and his twin Mariz fled with their families to Zonama Sekot following the advice of their "dead" father, who had seen them being killed by Darth Krayt's Hands, just as their younger brother Jacen had.
