Almaea Althos was a female Human from Byblos. She was married to Noryk Althos, a professor of ancient history at the University of Byblos; they had one son, Garrin.
The Althoses sought to provide well for their son, sending him to private school and supporting his dreams of service in the Republic Navy. Almaea was appalled when, in 1,388 BBY, Garrin stole Sith artifacts from his father to show his friends, and the boys were all brought in by Judicials and Jedi. After the embarrassment of having her home searched by the Judicials and being interrogated by the Jedi, Almaea castigated her son for his recklessness.
