She was conceived after the Battle of Novus Kamino Prime. After her birth, Nathan gave a promise to both mother and child; that he would never engage the Empire, unless attacked first. Unknown to the two, he and his fellows, Doc and Alpha, were plotting to find a way to bring them there.
When their plan worked, Nathan left his family and accompanied Alpha to Toola, which eventually gave way to the Battle of Toola. Doc, feeling guilty of his part in the plot, told Abigaile Jade and watched them leave with a broken heart.
The elder Abigaile took herself and Abigaile Kenobi to the planet Tatooine, so that they could help Nathan's uncle, Obi-Wan Kenobi, in the protection of Luke Skywalker. Unfortunately, both Abigailes were captured by the Arkanian smuggler, Maka Jeth, and his Yaka slave, Duwingo.
The two were sent to Emperor Palpatine's hidden fortress world of Wayland and subjected to torture. Darth Vader informed the senior Abigaile that the two were to be trained as Emperor's Hands, since they were both Force-sensitive.
Nathan, following the clues that he had been given, found the two and managed to rescue his wife, but she was killed by the traitorous Gilad Pellaeon and Wilhuff Tarkin. He managed to retrieve his dead wife's body and he, along with his daughter, fled the scene.
After her father's death ten years later, Abigaile Kenobi began piloting his ship, Nathan's Fury. Adept as both of her parents were with a lightsaber, she helped anyone in the Unknown Regions who needed it. This included several Killiks, P'w'ecks, and Chiss.
When Nathan was two years old, she returned to Known Space at the behest of her father's and mother's Force ghosts and helped Luke Skywalker escape the insane clone of Joruus C'baoth, but at the cost of her own life. She gave her child to Han and Leia Solo, and they adopted him into their growing family.
