The 66th Slaughter Corps was lead by Marshal Commander Dunkel and was formed after the Battle of Coruscant. It was formally 66th Security Divison till the Battle of Coruscant in 19 BBY. The corps was then replaced by an Army, still having the same leader during the the Rebellion era, known as the 66th Shadowtrooper Army.

History[]

Battle of Coruscant[]

The 66th Security Division was guarding on an outpost on Coruscant one day when the Battle of Coruscant and suddenly started. During the Battle, 66th Security Division was aided by Survival Regiment and Fang Platoon, due to them temporary being positioned there. The attack came from vulture droids in space, as well as a deployment of a CIS Brigade known as Hellfire Brigade. However, after an encounter with a bounty hunter by the name of Zerd Terrorly, and Hellfire Brigade advanced too much, the clone troopers were forced to flee to a Republic base near the Senate Building, and the 66th Slaughter Corps was formed there.

While the 66th was posted on Coruscant, they were assigned to raiding an outpost where a Senator was being held hostage.

Zillo Battalion[]

Zillo Battalion was a battalion completely made up of Volunteers, ARCs, alpha ARCs and a NULL ARC. Their men where trained like no others and became one of the most elite fighting forces in the history of the galaxy. Their name also goes along with their armour, reinforced with the Zillo beasts natural armour plating.

77th ARC Unit[]

The 77th ARC Unit contained two fire teams, each containing four members. 77th ARC Unit was lead by ARC-2764. While he does lead both Fire teams, when the teams split he lead Fire Team A.

101st Airborne Company[]

The 101st Airborne Company was a company designated for dropping down from the sky in a skydive to raid bases. Most of the men were paratroopers, but there were a few pilots as well. The company was led by VT-4298, also known as Captain Shade, however he spent most of his time with his squad, the 84th Assassin Squad.

84th Assassin Squad[]

84th Assassin Squad was a squadron formed up of purely volunteers to the Grand Army of the Republic. It had nine members. The squad was led by Captain Shade as well.

44th Elite Recon Battalion[]

The 44th Elite Recon Battalion was a battalion that were the scouts for the 66th. They investigated the area before reporting back to the tacticians with what they have learned. They used many vehicles, including BARC speeders, 74-Z speeder bikes, 105-K lancer bikes, and many more vehicles, including ones that were not bikes. CC-4371, also referred to as Battalion Commander Gunner was in charge of the battalion.

17th Doom Legion[]

The 17th Doom Legion was for bombing and bomb disposal. They were especially used on Vjun to make a domino effect of the towers with defenses that blocked off their main objective. The commander of the 17th was CC-2567, also known as Senior Commander Breacher.

177th Bomb Defusal Company[]

The 177th Bomb Defusal Company were better at defusing bombs than most of the 17th Doom Legion. Therefore, when available they were usually the first to be called to stop bombs.

Denah Company[]

Denah Company was a group of bombers who would go when not as many troopers are needed.

Adeen Squad[]

Adeen Squad was a smaller squad in Denah Company. It was one of the squads used when Denah Company needed to split into groups.

34th Shock Legion[]

The 34th Shock Legion held the shock troopers of the 66th. They rest on Core worlds under the protection of the 66th, however when they are sent out to battle outside of one of these planets, such as Coruscant, they would usually aid the 143rd Security Division.

143rd Security Division[]

The 143rd Security Division was the defense of the 66th. They stayed back to protect the 66th's bases on worlds, and were deployed more than the 34th Shock Legion.

862nd Shield Platoon[]

927th Night Flame Division[]

The 927th Night Flame Division held the silent assassins in the 66th. Their armor was purple instead of red. The division was mainly of stealth operations troopers. However, assassin troopers were introduced as troopers in the division when Contingency Order 66 was called for.

1st Reaper Company[]

The 1st Reaper Company was a company of some of the more elite 927th killers. They wore black robes outlined by red with a small bit of purple, and their helmets were decorated with a pattern of a skull on them. They were lighter and quicker on their feet than the rest of the division.

Dark Honor Guard[]

The Dark Honor Guard is a secret organization in the 66th Slaughter Corps formed by Senate Commandos who only take orders from Marshal Commander Dunkel and the Chancellor. Besides Dunkel and the Chancellor, the Dark Honor Guard was led by SG-9650, Captain Bullseye.
